Quixote is one of the most interesting and unusual hidden gems in Napa. Where else do you see authentic Calder and Miro drawings on the walls of the barrel room? In a beautiful setting under the Stags Leap palisades set back from the SIlverado Trail, the architecturally stunning structures, the only Friedensreich Hundertwasser works in the US, slowly reveal themselves... I have always liked Petite Syrah and Quixote produce some of the best so arranged for a reserve tasting. We started in the vineyard talking through the terrior and then moved into the tasting room. Very informative all the way through and quite relaxed. It was the last tasting of the day and the guide joined us for a glass... More

If you're looking for a "non-big-box" wine tasting experience in Napa Valley, make a visit to Quixote Winery. It's wonderful. I'm not one for going to winery after winery after winery... I like to pick just a few unique ones to experience. This was one of them... It's small. It's off the beaten path a little bit. And, it's a... More

My husband and I didn't have a reservation, but we drove into the parking lot at a few minutes before noon, phoned and were lucky to get places for the noon tour. Just driving off Silverado Trail into the hills of Stag's Leap was worth our visit because it is simply gorgeous. We joined three others with Marco to start... More

This unique winery with an off-the-wall owner creates small batch wines. Will not find this style anywhere else. Vineyard buildings created by famous architect that 'hates right-angles'. 2008 Petit Syrah is something special. Tour guide/taste-master Marco is a true treasure and makes the tasting experience personal and unforgettable. You will not be able to leave without at least two bottles.... More

Quixote is a quaint, eclectic boutique winery tucked into the foothills off of Silverado Trail in the Stags' Leap district. Autumn, our hostess, provided us with a knowledgeable, in depth and personalized tour of the facilities, which are themselves part art installation and gallery. Quixote crafts superb wines, which we enjoyed both before and during the guided tour. If you... More

I recently made an impromptu visit to Quixote Winery because our hotel gave us the tip to check it out and I must say, it definitely exceeded my expectations. They walk you through the winery, stopping at different areas to talk about the history and pour you wine. It's a tour and tasting all at once. Also - superb wine.... More

The people leaving as we arrived were generous with praise for their 2 hour tour and tasting. I guess their regular hot went home. 25 minutes later we were dismissed. One of the wines clearly had been open for days and was totally gone. One was bland, one seemed off and one was very good. Pretty poor batting average for... More

Everybody there has great wines, but just Quixote has a passionate and eccentric story. Their place is really beautiful and different from everything that we could ever seen. David took us for a tour in the cellars with their unique steel barrels decorated by their employees.. their winery has more than grapes and good structure, they have soul. You can't... More
