Ironstone Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery that places as much emphasis on the natural beauty and history of our surroundings as we do on the quality of our wines. Located in Murphys, in the heart of the Sierra Foothills in California's scenic Gold Rush Country, Ironstone is a state-of-the-art wine production facility. The winery was built in the style of a 19th century gold stamp mill and has antiques and gold mining artifacts on display throughout the facility. Ironstone offers a Tasting Room and Music Room, where you can find the fully restored Alhambra Theatre Pipe Organ. The facility also boasts Meeting and Banquet Facilities, an Outdoor Amphitheatre, Wine Aging Caverns and a Culinary Demonstration Kitchen. With fourteen acres of Spectacular Lakeside Gardens, you can choose your perfect Wedding Venue. Ironstone's Heritage Museum is home to a 44 pound Crystalline Gold Leaf specimen, the largest in the world. The Heritage Jewelry Shoppe, located inside the Heritage Museum, offers visitors a unique opportunity to take home a piece of California's colorful history.

I was at the Ironstone Vineyards Amphitheater for the Hall & Oats concert. I did not get to see the whole property but from what I did see, it is a beautiful estate. It made for a beautiful concert and I think it would make a beautiful place to have a wedding. I did not have any of the wine... More

Came here to see Hall & Oates and The tickets were worth every penny. The grounds are beautiful. We purchased the buffet tickets so we enjoyed a good meal before the show began. The food was very good and the portions were generous. The young men serving up the food were very polite and worked hard to keep everyone moving... More

Very nice property, well maintained buildings, clean, and lots to see there. Wines were decent to good(depending on varietal) and reasonably priced, with a 25% discount if you join their wine club. In particluar, the reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel were winnners, but the regular Zinfandel was a good value as well. Candy was the person who helped us, was... More

We drove here just to purchase some wine, but ended up having a blast looking in their museum/gift shop. The gold nugget in the vault is a must look at and we loved looking at other the historical artifacts that they had displayed as well.

Great venue to catch a high profile concert in a really nice setting. Parking coming in is ok, but going out could use better management.

CONCERTS: I've been going to Ironstone for concerts since the first season. If you do not want to sit on the lawn, bring a chair. (Check rules for chair height). Great sound system. Large screens display action on stage. I've been from touching the stage to the lawn. All good. Food venues get really busy. Plenty of outhouses. Murphys is... More

Excellent tour! This place also has a full sized entertainment venue that hosts popular music acts during the summer. Wines are good, story is great!

8 of us attended a Steve Miller concert at the winery. I have not been to the winery itself but really enjoyed the concert area. I'm looking forward to going back to see the winery. We did buy some wine to enjoy at the concert and it was very good. Just a heads up to anyone who hasn't been to... More
