The park was dead and dry. Mapquest took us to the wrong entrance and when we found the right one, we drove around for 15 min looking for parking, and left.

Went little late on the day so could not go for boating, but would recommend it for day out near MTV area.

I simply loved the place. The lake, the park, the bike trail and the cafe. Everything was great, and will go back whenever the weathers nice and we can make it. It was a super relaxing Sunday, we took a pedal boat. $25 for an hr. You get for up to the whole day, for different prices. There's no fee... More

Shoreline Park is a pretty park in Mountain View. The water area is quite nice; small sail boats; paddle boats; and longboards. There is a nice small cafe by the water edge as well. There is also a historic home here which on a few days each week they do tours through the home; it is called the Rengstorff House.... More

If you are looking for an easy destination where the kids can try out kayaks, paddle boats, and even sail boats compete with instuctors and camps, then this is your spot. Located by Shoreline Amphitheather and down the street from the movie theaters, Laser Tag, and even Google, this is a great little park with a lovely shoreline area to... More

So many people that I have spoken to said no vacation this year just cant afford it. I always say to them do a local vacation and start out the first day if not a couple at Shoreline. You can go bike riding, small boat sailing, Kite flying. Bring a box lunch meet some great people. The kids love it... More

The lake area is great for getting out, walking, biking and general exercising. The bird life is beautiful and plentiful, especially geese. The lake water is fairly clean, but not for swimming. The aquatic center has rentals, and lessons if you want to learn how to paddle-board, windsurf or small boat sailing (although the services are quite pricey). The park... More

I like the park because of the lake - you could walk around it or rollerblade, run, cycle.. Boating is available in the lake and so is sailboating. They also have a shop selling accessories. I have walked the trails and you could spot bunnies and various birds. Restrooms are very clean and right by the boat rental area. Lots... More
