Fly on the only passenger airship in the USA! Cruise at 1200ft, 35 mph in serene luxury. Opening and panoramic windows, restroom aboard. Chat to the pilot! Tours of San Francisco (Oakland), Silicon Valley, Santa Cruz, Monterey and Los Angeles (Long Beach). Las Vegas and Seattle are on the schedule for 2010. Prices start at $199 per person plus taxes. 30, 60, 90 and 120 minute tours and Private Charters available.

My wife and I took a 6:05pm 'sunset' flight with AirshipVentures from Oakland International Airport on October 9th, the same week the Blue Angels were in town for Fleet Week. With the Blues practice flight schedules, airspace over the Bay was closed until late in the day. Ours was the second flight that afternoon.
