We did the half day excursion with lunch on a very windy morning. Our guide Paul introduced us to some of the interesting spots in the bay and got us back to the dock safely. The trip was a good intro to kayaking in the bay, and gave us the confidence to venture out on our own during the rest... More

I am a virgin kayaker, (w lots of canoe experience) and my wife is nervous as a cat on the water. We had a fantastic experience, thanks to our guide, Cindi. She was friendly, knowledgable of her craft and the outdoors and a total professional while being patient with our inexperience. She took us to the rookery, oyster frams and... More

My 2 yo son went kayaking for the first time on a guided tour with CCO. It was awesome! He had a rocky start, but once on the kayak thoroughly enjoyed himself. Our guide was terrific, very knowledgable about the Bay and the animals, and it was a calm and lovely day. What a wonderful way to have introduced my... More

We spent three days (cold days!) biking with Central Coast Outdoors. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. We are experienced bikers and have used many biking companies for tours, but this group was exceptional. Every contact with them was friendly, helpful and professional. The routes were some of the best biking ever! The lunch picnics were delicious. The van support... More

What a terrific adventure for a family. The kayaking distances were perfect he guide were knowledgeable and the scenery very special. This is not a difficult tour to paddle when the waters are calm.

Katarina was our guide as we kayaked the estuary and bay near Morro Rock. She made it enjoyable and educational as well. We were fortunate to have nice sunny weather and it wasn't too choppy though a bit windy at first. It was a lot of fun, relaxing and yet a good workout. I would definitely recommend this trip -... If your thinking about it, just book it, you will not regret it. We took a morning guided tour of Morro bay. We were fortunate to be the only people on the tour and the conditions could not have been better, completely clear skies, nice and warm and not a breath of wind. It was all our first time kayaking... More

What a wonderful experience! Our very knowledgeable and well traveled guide led our 7-person group through oyster beds (mooch patrol), near a local bird rookery, near enough to harbor seals to watch them frolick in the ocean but far enough to allow for their space as wild animals, and lastly to amazing sand dunes bordering the estuary in Morro Bay... We recently took an amazing kayak tour guided by Virginia. We had a wonderful time paddling in the bay for three hours, observing lots of birds, harbor seals and sea lions. After 2hrs of not too exhausting paddling, we debarked on the dunes and had a short walk towards the ocean. It was great to walk through the dunes and... More

My husband and I went on the morning bike/afternoon wine tasting tour. When I read their description of this day trip, it was exactly what I had in mind ! We met our guide, Cindi, and when we told her that we wanted to opt for the shorter 12-mile ride, she patiently and subtly suggested that we could indeed do... More
