We made a plan at the last minute to do a sub-sea tour for our kids. Since I was in SLO, I called to enquire about the availability. The guys suggested we came 10 minutes before and he has us reserved for the noon tour, which we wanted to do. We reached just in time and got into the boat... More

we took the sub-sea tour and saw NO fish.. and the operator was not keen to even try . It was just another short boat ride in the bay. Not worth the time/ money!

Not our first time whale watching, but first time on a small boat and no whales spotted. The family pod of dolphins was priceless and so enjoyable. There were hundreds of them popping in and out of the water. Coming back to the harbor we saw lots of cute floating otters and loud sun-bathing seals. It was a very foggy... More

Friendly crew, did their best to find whales and dolphins, they contacted other vessels as soon as we left harbour. We saw a huge school of short nose common dolphins, amazing creatures, my highlight of a great holiday!! Plus we saw, albeit from a distance, humbacks diving and breaching, amazing stuff and we would recommend anyone to do this tour.... More

Sunny, clear noon outing, but still can't see fish clearly. Boat takes you out toward morro rock. Drive by the platform where all sea lions lay. Stops near rock. Spins. Throws fish food out. Hard to see anything without adding lights. motors back. 40 mind maybe. Total disappointment.

Our first experience was with the "Sub-Sea Tour" We headed straight over to an area near the shore where fish were known to hang out. The captain put the boat into a tight spin and we rotated for about 20 minutes in one place while they tried to scare up some fish. The underwater viewing area smelled like bilge and... More

You can only imagine the chances you'll have to actually see a whale in its habitat. Realistically the odds are against you but we decided to take the risk and pre booked a Saturday lunchtime trip. We left at 1300 for a three hour trip being realistic. As we left the harbour we saw water spouts in the distance and... More

Captain Kevin was great. We knew before we headed out that it is late in the season to see whales so I was not expecting more than a beautiful 3hour tour, Captain Kevin called every other vessel and searched the ocean abroad until he found our whale. Our kids had a blast. He was able to maneuver the boat so... More

My wife and I went on their whale watching excursion. Kevin was our skipper and Dakota was his whale lookout. Although we could see spouts in the distance, the whales vanished, by the time we approached. We did see a whale's tale, but it was hard to see. We did see a group of dolphins, which was very cool. At... More

We took our 11-year old granddaughter on this whale watching trip at the end of July this year. It was the 12:30 tour. The sea was quite choppy and it took a long long time to catch sight of any humpbacks, but the skipper was amazing. He handled the boat so well and persevered to find us those whales. And... More
