Captain Dan and Dakota could not have been better tour guides of the Pacific off the coast of Cayucos and Morro Bay. When the captain saw the thousands of birds skirting the ocean, all making their way in the same general direction, he quickly maneuvered the catamaran to follow. 30 minutes later the cat was surrounded by swimming birds, dozens... First, let me say, this is not for those who get queasy in cars or roller coasters... or on the sea. I do. I thought I'd be fine after taking some non-drowsy antimotion sickness meds. My son and I were green around the gills off and on throughout the trip (mostly when we were stopped to observe, less so when... More

The morning started out a bit slow, but picked up with many sightings of whales, dolphins, sea lions, and otters. The captain was energetic and informative. The weather warmed up toward noon, but definitely bring layers for the morning (they also provide thin fleece blankets on the boat). Overall, a really good experience for a reasonable price!

A truly awesome experience! Went out last week and saw numerous species of birds, otters, seals, sea lions, dolphins ( and their babies!!) and about 2 dozen whales! We ventured out about 2 1/2 miles, right into "SEA WORLD LIVE" in Morro Bay...numerous seals and dolphins surfing the waves, whales were everywhere. Crew was friendly and knowledgeable. TIP- if you are... More

We had originally booked a tour in Monterrey Bay to whale watch but weather canceled that trip. Found this tour by accident on our way down the coast and couldn't be happier. The Captain was knowledgeable without talking too much and kept everyone in good spirits on the tour. I didn't think we'd see anything after the first hour went... More

This was our first visit whale watching in Morro Bay. Captain was very informative and diligent in finding sealife. We saw humpback whales, dolphins, seals, and otters. This tour is a great activity for everyone. Look forward to doing another tour next time we visit Morro Bay.

Went whale watching with colleagues on a foggy Tuesday morning. Along the route we saw otters, and sea lions just doing their normal morning routines. About 1.5 kms from shore we were greeted by a school of bottlenose dolphins heading north. Another half km out was the first sighting of whale through water spouts when they exhale. We saw a... A little shocked that a passenger was allowed to free steer the craft, alone - and rather poorly at that- is this a safety issue? An abbreviated trip to feed the fish

Great little ride around the bay. We had kids with us, ages 2, 3, 8, and 13. All of them loved it. They got to feed the fish and see other animals in the water. Definitely worth it for the little ones. Kevin, our guide, was great.

We joined our tour on a lovely sunny morning in Morro Bay. The sea was calm, the setting perfect. We first passed the sea lions lounging in the sun and were then entertained by sea otters before heading out of the bay. It didn't take long for us to spy one whale who was feeding nearby. However the real show... More
