We took this cruise in the late afternoon when there are fewer fish to see under the bay, but it was still absolutely worth it. The boat tour starts on the top deck where we got a close-up view of the sea lions that live in the bay and the sea otters. About half-way through the cruise, we went down... More

We went on the 9:00 am whale watching excursion. Our captain was Keith. He and his assistant, Dakota, were very funny, and extremely knowledgeable about the Morro Bay area and the local marine life. We were able to watch 2 male Humpback Whales feeding near to us the entire time we were out. It was amazing. The only downside is... More

This was the highlight of a two-week trip to California. First, when storm system was approaching, they offered to rebook in the morning versus the afternoon. They refunded the money back easily for the 2 people they didn't have slots for. Communication was easy. But, most of all, the biologist on the boat was very knowledgeable and friendly, and commented... More

Our group of 5 were delighted to take the 9;00 tour which left on time with about 25 people. Going out I of the bay we watched the playful sea otters and also the barking sea lions who were sunning themselves. We moved past the ROCK and out into the sea which had some 10 ft waves. The practical catamaran... More

My family and I took a whale watching tour with Dane and Dakota in July 2015. I had no idea humpbacks were so plentiful this time of year. We had a recommendation from a docent at the museum to go whale watching and are we ever glad we did. We left on the boat about 12:30 and in about 20... More

Didn't want to get wet as we were Traveling home on a plane later but we wanted to see the bay. They offer 1 hour tours for reasonable prices in their sub sea boat. Part of the tour is above water and there is an opportunity to view the fish under the water in the glass windowed lower level. The... More

We had a great time today on our whale watching trip. We have seen a family of three humpbacks from very close. Also there were a lot of dolphins, sealions, seaotters and birds.

The people were pefectly nice and definitely competent but the attitude was lets see if we can find one, well we did not never mind. This did not sit well with some who demanded their money back which I think was unfair, however they definitely need to manage the expecatations of their customers better.
