We hadn't planned to go whale watching but decided to, on a whim, while passing by the dock in Morro Bay. I'm glad we did -- it was the highlight of our honeymoon trip to the Central Coast! We were in Morro Bay on a Sunday and put our names in to go Monday. We arrived on time and went... more

The 3 hour whale watching trip was excellent and a great value. The whales breached many times, and then really jumped out of the water, coming down with a cannon-like sound. We also saw one Minkus whale and many sea lions and birds. They know how to find the whales. One of us was bothered by the crew talking much... more

Called them on a Saturday morning to make sure they had availability for my husband, 2-yr old son and myself and we scheduled ourselves for the 12:00noon excursion. I have been on five or six whale watching trips with Sub Sea Tours and it has always been an amazing experience. I've been out lots of times when the whales were breaching (jumping up with their tales coming up and out of the water). Kevin and the other captains have got it down for finding those whales.
