A warm day in Morro Bay. It was fun to watch the surfers and run in the waves. Lots of families enjoying the beach and the weather. Shhh, don't tell anyone. It's our little secret....

Of course this time of year Morro Bay is cool and delightful compared to inland just a ways where temperatures can rise easily to 105+. It was foggy and 65 when we visited but we could see blue sky about 1 mile east. There were many people on the beach as well as several surfing. There is an ok public... More

Great beach access. Fun for families and groups! Sites towards rear of campsite are a bit quieter, as usual.

Good waves for surfers, lots of space for families with children. Not overly easy access but lots of parking area, although not paved.

For visitors to Morro Bay, CA, one of the most enjoyable experiences you can have is a day at the beach. The Strand runs from Morro Rock north to the town of Cayucos. There is good surf fishing, nice waves for surfing, and enough wind for wind surfing. The beaches are kept in good order. The length of the beach... More

Not much to say. It's a quiet beach and it's nice. Not to many people on the sand as November it is a little chilly. Bring a jacket with you during this time.

I LOVE this dog beach and I have been to every dog beach from So cal all the way to Canada! This beach is always clean, plenty of room, stretching on for miles! Even great for collecting sand dollars. Beach provides dog bags, trash bags, water.

The Morro Strand Beach stretches from Morro Rock north for miles. It is so spacious that it almost seems like a private beach. The crashing waves this week were beautiful music as we strolled along the expanse of beauty. Bring you boogie board, surf board or what ever for the water. It is a tad cold so a wet suit... More
