A beautiful quiet beach nestled in Morro Bay. I went for a long run here and could not have enjoyed it more! Very clean. A lot of people bring there dogs here. It was very pooch friendly! More

This is a nice long stretch of beach. Great waves, lots of sand and many local people enjoying the cool breezes. Many species of shorebirds, seals, sea otters, and pelicans. More

This is a great beach if you want to have space to yourself. I walk this beach nearly every day while on vacation and it is never crowded, even on weekends. During the week, you can frequently have the beach to yourself. When the tide is out there is a lot of room to walk. More

We did, with our two kids, and had a ball. Only saw one other person out there and you can walk from the bay side out to the beach with a fun trek through the sand. Rocks to climb as well for the adventurous who don't mind ocean sprays. The kayaks allowed us a fun trip across and we enjoyed... More

Next to Highway 1, near Morro Bay, and the northern part, accessible from Cayucos, is dog friendly. (Bring your "doggy bags," please!) More

It has become a family tradition to take a stroll along the beach in Morro Bay on Christmas Day - gotta' LOVE the way we do winter here on the amazing California Central Coast! Of course, a stroll on the beach is a great activity just about ANY day here! More

The Strand is perfect for a long leisurely walk on the beach from Morro Bay to Cayucos, a great place to explore a tidepool, take picturea of the sunset or reflections on the sand at low tide. It's my daughter's favorite place to fly a kite. More
