Great beach to walk for miles and miles. Clean and safe for all ages. Both days, we walked 6 miles of beaches.

Really torn between a 3 or 4 star review, but settled for 3. It depends on what you are looking for in a camping experience. This is not much more than a parking lot, but it is adjacent to a large beach. They recently upgraded with full hookup RV sites, which we used. However, all sites are small and there... More

This is a lovely sandy beach. We found loads of sand dollars and felt confident with the lifeguards there. It seemed a hot spot for surfers. Plenty of parking.

Good dawn or dusk shots. Try a long exposure and get cotton candy waves. Not good shooting during mid day light.

Beautiful beach! You can walk and walk and walk! Fun to watch the surfers and kite fliers and the wisping fog on the sand. Free parking and a view of enormous Morro Rock.

Ahhh the ocean breeze and the view is spectacular. Surfers, swimmers and just watchers like us, enjoying the view the fresh air early in the morning, is something, money can't buy.

I LOVE going here with my grandson and our dogs. Easy to get to, the weather is almost always wonderful (though you do get fog in summer), and the place is just beautiful!

Hello fellow travelers I just returned from morro strand state beach, the weather was wonderful and the camp sites are great. But if you really want to have a great time, go during the week day, you will have a great chance of finding a good spot.

Beautiful site! Lots of sand dollars on the beach. Waves were great to swim in and boogie board on. Beach was not crowded. The morning till 1pm or after 5pm till sunset were the best times on the beach before the winds picked up. Very relaxing.
