I highly recommend Central Coast Stand up Paddling for all your SUP needs. If you are interested in learning, take a lesson on beautiful Morro Bay. If you don't own a board, renting is very reasonable. It's also a great place to try out a variety of boards when you are trying to decide what can of board to buy.... More

Matt taught my wife and me how to surf years ago so when he opened a SUP store it was a no brainer to go to him for lessons, rentals, and ultimately a board purchase. Central Coast Stand Up Paddling in Morro Bay 805-395-0410 offered an awesome paddling experience with my dear friend.What a great date! We paddled towards the rock and saw dolphins, otters, seals and saw Morro Rock clear to gorgeous sunshine. It was incredible. What an AMAZING way to see Morro Bay like I've never seen it before ... gliding along the bay on my own paddle board! Surrounded by sea otters, harbor seals, manta rays, schools of colorful jellyfish, egrets, herons, seagulls, osprey ... and the beauty of the inner harbor. After one Saturday demo, I was hooked. Started with a big very stable board, and when I got the hang of that a little, tried a succession of different boards. It was very rewarding and fun. It's easier than it seems and a great workout, too. I was so pleased that I bought a new board a couple of weeks... More
