Arrived promptly at 9am on a Friday morning (in December!) to take advantage of the 10%Early Bird Special. The gentleman greeted us with a warm smile and took care of us like we were at home. The weather was perfect, clear skies, saw a few sea otters and paddle around the sea lions-who were very vocal! The location is great.... More

We went kayaking the first weekend in October. Often, early October is warm and clear on the Central Coast, and this was no exception. It was 80 degrees at 9:30 in the morning and extremely clear. We had both a Labrador retriever and an 18 month old toddler. I called ahead, and Kayak Horizons told us they had plenty of... More

This place was recommended by our hotel and we were so happy to find it! By far this seemed the best deal for kayaking Morro Bay. Quick service and instruction and we were off! Beautiful day and lots of sea lions to see. Would highly recommend this place to family and friends!

We rented two double kayaks for ourselves and our teen boys this past weekend, and we had a wonderful time! The rental included the boats, paddles, life jackets, and the use of a wet bag for storing things on the boat without getting them wet. We paddled over to the sand spit near Morro Rock first, and we saw many... More

I would recommend it to anyone. Got to see the sea lions and birds up close and it was fun for our first time kayaking.

My husband just kept saying that he didn't want to get wet. Other than drips off the paddles, we stayed dry and this was our first time kayaking.

Great place to rent a kayak while in Morro Bay, and a great opportunity to get out in the sheltered bay. Go early in the morning when the water is the calmest.

Looking back, we should have decided it was a bad day to kayak after seeing the size of the waves! The water is Morro Bay is extremely chilly regardless of the time of year, so I would strongly recommend wearing more than just a bathing suit. There are a lot of sea lions and birds in the bay, and you... More

Kayak Horizons was very reasonably priced for kayak rental, Maybe the cheapest we have ever seen on vacation. Their kayak was very comfortable, more so than the others we have rented. We loved going around the bay seeing things up close.

The owner of Kayak Horizons is very personable, extremely helpful, and the equipment is great for the bay. We saw seals, otters, several varieties of birds, and had a thoroughly enjoyable paddle. Terrific value for the experience!
