A small but well stocked military museum giving the history of Monterey and The entry of California into the union. Museum can be entered without going through the Army gate. Many displays of early armament and uniforms. The curator loved his job and was very knowledgeable of the museum and local military history

Small, free, local museum overlooked by many, but with an excellent display on the interelated histories of Monterey and its Presidio.
