Great multi use trail along the bay/ ocean from Monterey to Pacific Grove. Good for strolling, jogging, roller skating, roller blading or biking. Beautiful views of Monterey Bay and on beyond to views of the ocean. Some paved, some packed dirt, some packed sand.

We rode from the Holiday Inn Express hotel in Seaside to Pebble beach, 26.2 miles roundtrip. The trail ended at Lovers Point and we continued riding on Ocean View Blvd and Sunset Blvd past Asilomar Beach and to 17 Mile Drive and turned around somewhere between Point Joe and Cypress Point. You don't have to pay the $10 entrance fee... More

We rode our bikes from Casa Verde parking lot to Lovers Point. This is a very nice paved trail. It goes to fishermans wharf and through the middle of cannery row. Lots of places to lock your bike up so you can walk around and see the sights. Level trail and good for kids

We walked the portion of the trail between Cannery Row and Lover's Point, like many other reviewers. Next time we come back to Monterey I want to bring our bikes and bike the whole trail! The portion we were on was very well-maintained, with lots of benches to sit and take in the view. There is a beach by the... More

This trail is paved, flat and covers a large area of coast and attractions. Spots to stop and see the otters and sea life, rest in a park, shop and eat. Bike rentals are available if you want to see more. Even when I lived in Monterey I used this trail on the weekends for R&R.

My wife and I walked this trail from Cannery Row to Lovers Point. It was a cool, damp, windy day but we still enjoyed the path. Views are spectacular and we saw seals catching an afternoon nap on the beach. A worthwhile walk (or bike ride). We would love to do it again on a bright sunny day

This is by far the best feature of the peninsula area, whether riding a bike or walking this is an awesome way to get around, to see the sites and to get some great excersise!

We did a round trip extending from lover's point to the wharf, about 5 miles. Perfect walk, great vistas and people watching.
