We are so fortunate to have a trail for walkers, runners, and bicyclists amidst such beauty. Pay attention to the signs of bicycle lanes where the walkers should avoid. Just move to one side of it. The trail covers a very long distance, but you can make it fit your itinerary. One suggestion is to start at Lover's Point in... More

We walked from the aquarium to Lovers Point which included going past the Harbour Seal colony where it is easy to stop and spend ages watching the seals. But don't just look over the ocean, also enjoy the buildings along the other side of the road. Makes you think you are in "Anne of Green Gables"!!

Even if you do not enjoy exercise, this is the spot to get you motivated. Unbelievable views- enough to distract you from the exercise!

Having explored the town and the famous Cannery Row, walking along here from the diving centre direction through the trail is pleasant and gives the opportunity to stop at some little restaurants which provide take out also. lots of walkers, cyclists and joggers use this trail-seems popular with tourists and locals alike.

The path started a few block from our hotel and made for a gret morning stroll to soak up the natural beauty.

We hired bikes in Cannery Row and went to Bird Rock and back in about 2.5 hours. Bar one hill its an easy cycle with spectacular scenery. We caught it as a big storm was brewing up in the Pacific and the surf that day was... AWESOME!

We walked, we stopped, we climbed trees, gawked at the sea lions. Were they sea lions or harbor seals? (Hint: It's all in the ears.) Best of all, Adventurous Ones, were the tidepools. We tip toe'd, balanced, wavered on rocks and peered into pools with real living things inside them: Starfish! Crabs! Mussels! Snails! Anenomes! Kelp! We were Kings and... More

I walked 8 miles and really did not know it. The vistas of the ocean are so compelling that I just could not stop walking. Yes that took 3 hours and I had only planned on one hour but I was enthralled.

A great trail that winds along the bay. We enjoyed the beautiful landscaping and clean trail. Lots of people walking and exercising. Saw many seals and otters from the trail, also lovely landmarks and historical areas. Very few homeless did get approached once, was uncomfortable glad there were many people around. Beautiful landscaping, too.
