We saw so many humpback whales, seals & birds on our tour with princess. The crew was so informative & helpful. They narrated most of the trip & we're very knowledgable regarding whale history & migration patterns. Don't miss this exciting tour. It's approximately 45/person, lasts for approx 2 1/2 -3 hours . Also tip...if you tend to get motion... More

Loved this experience. I have always wanted to go whale watching and was pleasantly please to see about 12 whales in a massive bed of sea lions....totally amazing. Lots of diving for food so pleanty of tail splashes. The tour guide was very knowledgable and it was great to see her excited to see the amount of whales that day... More

This is a fun way to get out on the bay and see whales. We enjoyed the ride, although its amazing how quickly the water can get a bit rough while out at sea, We did the whale watching tour in January. We visited in August 2014 and while enjoying Fisherman Wharf area saw the whale count and boat again... More

We saw whales, so my review is 4 stars! I think it just depends on the time of year you choose to go, so do your research. We went in July and saw at least 8 whales. No breaching. The boat was fine, I liked that it was a little bigger. If you can stand the hour ride out, it's... More

Booked with Princess tours as...they were the only ones who were not sold out when we arrived late, but that was simply because they had chartered an extra boat as it was so busy. Booking and instructions were clear and easy, and the boat was clean and perfect for the job. Tour was 3 hours long [$45 for adults, $35... More

Monterey has plenty to offer for its size, and one of the bays most prominent activities is whale watching. It's a year round activity and providing on when you go, depends on what animals you see. The summer months do offer the greater variety according to the website, with the iconic killer whale being just one of many whale species... More

Even though it will cost you a bit ($45pp), this is a "must-do" activity while in Monterey. The day before we visited the Monterey Aquarium, and for about the same amount of money, although it was nice, I didn't feel it was much different than any of the other aquariums I've been to. It wasn't an up front and personal... More

This was the best looking whale watching company, they had the most times avaibale and the best looking stand. The price is a few dollars higher than the others which seems like a lot ($45) to maybe see something. You drive straight out into the sea for about an hour. Most people were on the bow looking the whole time... More

We did a 3 hour trip which was the perfect amount of time as we got plenty of great views but didn't get bored. Great for all ages but be careful if you get seasick easily.
