We did a morning whale-watching tour and it was awesome. We saw humpbacks, killer whales, birds, sea lions and otters. The guide was very knowledgeable and the captain knew where to look for the whales. The humpbacks swam towards the boat at one stage and under it and we were so close to the whales. We could hear them breathing... More

We booked our tour ahead of time which saved time in the morning. The boat was very large and far more spacious than expected. The staff were attentive and helpful. We saw many pods of humpback whales and seals which we watched feed for about an hour. Many opportunities for pictures. Advice: wear extremely warm clothing. Take non drowsy gravol... More

went out on 7th Nov. blue sky day, light wind but a good 5 foot swell out wide, staff rated this as "calm" for that part of the ocean and season, warning if you suffer from sea sickness. this big boat is probably the most sea sickness friendly. saw a pacific sunfish on the way out and sea lions, had... Spent 48 years adoring this amazing mammal, championing Greenpeace back in the 80's and here was my chance to see the hump back in its natural habitat - cannot wait a trip of a lifetime!! Unfortunately one of my three teenage children, decided 15 minutes out of harbour to suffer acute motion sickness. I spent three long hours rubbing her... More

Took my two daughters, ages 8 and 5, on the Princess and had an unforgettable time. They have a great operation with an excellent crew and showed up lots of Dolphins, Otters, Sea Lions, and Humpbacks. We had a group of 10 humpbacks give us a memorable show. Will definitely go back with more family or friends.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Very informative, very clean boat, and we saw sealions, an orca, common dolphins (about 60 all in one group) and about 12 humpback whales! We learnt so much about why the whales migrate to this area and when, behaviour and why 2 species or more are often seen together. We loved every second... More

Not knowing anything about the area or the several whale watching tours in the area, our hotel suggested this one and I had seen them online as well. We decided on them and were not disappointed! They took us right in the middle of a humpback whale feeding frenzy with 12-15 creatures of beauty coming and diving down again and... More

This was our first whale watch, although I don't have anything to compare it to, I would highly recommend this place. It is on the higher end, compared to others in the area, it is the only one with the top deck, which we paid extra for. Top deck was way less crowded, and made it easier as we all... More

This was a great trip! We didn't have high expectations because during late October the whale populations in Monterey are at a low, but we hoped for the best. And we weren't disappointed. We saw lots of sea lions and many humpback whales, and did the whole trip in under 3 hours (while some of the trips further north take... More

I will start by saying i saw a similar attraction in australia and this just doesnt come close. The trip itself takes a long time to get out to see the whales so you don't get much time out there however they were intrested in taking you out to find a few whales that were feeding one group all feeding...
