I suppose it is up to your taste but I felt most of the wines they selected were not that great you could get better at Trader Joes. We did buy a dessert wine and the cabernet, but when we went elsewhere the wines were much better. More

The tasting room is close to downtown Monterey with plenty of parking. When we got there the attendant was busy with a large group on the patio from the wine trolley (a tour) so he poured us a glass inside at the bar and asked if we would mind waiting. As part of a wine tasting trip with friends Ventana was one of our stops. They had us (15) in our own room with a genorous selection of crackers, cheese, olives and meat. With a lovely selection of wines poured there was something for everyone. Knowlegable hosts and friendly service was the tone. A delightful experience. More

This place is small but cute. The staff is really friendly and not at all snobby. The cost for a wine tasting is $5 for about 8 different types but that fee is waved if you spend 15 dollars on wine. ALL of their wines were awesome so it's easy to spend that 15. LOVED visiting here. More
