We were in Monterey for a month and really enjoyed our one month membership. It is a very well-equipped facility in every way. Great machines, wonderful classes, terrific pool that usually had a lane and always had a lane to share. They even provide towels. The locker rooms can get a little crowded in the morning, but that speaks to... More

We enjoy the variety of classes that are offered, friendly staff, and atmosphere. Excellent water classes, yoga, and a variety of challenging classes. They offer classes at all levels of fitness ability.

The weight room is small, smaller than the grand hallway. Furthermore, the equipment, especially the machines, are new but dysfunctional. You'd get a better workout in a YMCA in 1970. The cardio room is more than adequate and the best skin show in the area, better than any on Fremont Street. The pool area is impressive and you might spot... More

I joined the sports center for a good month as it was close to my home but I had to move out of the city for a while, which made me stop coming. I did enjoy the gym. The equipment was up-to-date and in good working condition. It was just a clean environment. I also took a one day yoga... More

My wife and I are training for a triathlon and needed to find somewhere to keep up our swim training while on vacation. Since we are non members and non Monterey residents we paid $9 a piece to use the pool. The pool is an Olympic size pool but you can only swim it width wise which means 25 meters,... More

Located opposite the harbor, this is a terrific facility with pool, ,a wide range of exercise machines and weights. Non- residents can pay a daily rate and there are short- term memberships which provide access to a wide variety of classes and programs. The building is open weekends; there are lockers but you need to bring or buy a lock.... More

Great place to stop in for day of basketball, weights and cardio, or pool. Pretty nice crowd without too many jackasses.

My children have attended the summer camps and other camps during the school breaks. They absolutely love the Cheer camp. The coaches Rebecca and Natalie are wonderful with the kids. The only thing that would make it better is for them to include camps for spring break for dates the Salinas kids are out as well. Please, please do that.

It's clean and well-maintained. It has large cardio, stretching, and weight areas (no Olympic lifting / free weights) with a 40m by 25yd lap pool (with slide) set up with 25yd lanes. There is a gym with several basketball courts (volleyball & ping pong). There are a lot of helpful staff (and too many managers - but what do you... More
