Old school at its best. Great for walkers as greens are small and located near next tee boxes. Friendly staff and reasonable value considering where you are. Golfers will appreciate it though please give some consideration for the drought conditions. Give it a try and use your feet.

This an average golf course adjacent to the Hyatt. There are many more courses in the immediate area that basically the same for a heck of a lot less money. I found the experience to cost ratio to be way out of wack.

Great course for the history of the game...but it was like the black sheep of the Pebble Resorts. Knew going in that the views wasn't going to be a pebble or a spy..but still a little disappointed in the views. And the lack of a big cool hole that I wasn't expecting. Course was in good shape but there were... More

This might be a resort course but don't bother. Really poor conditions. If you miss the fairway, even by a little, you're hitting out of spotty grass but mostly just dirt. Played 5 courses over 3 days and this was, by far, the worst. Definitely not worth the money.

I'm not a huge golf fan, but my nephew played in the First tee open at Pebble Beach and Del Monte. It was hot that day, so my memories of Del Monte aren't great. It was a good experience to actually know how many miles my nephews walk when they play golf. Their restaurant was a good escape from the... More

We visited the Del Monte Golf course on 10/5/2013. I bought the green fee on GolfHub and it was well worth the price. The course is small overall and the greens are small considering, but the course is well maintained and pretty easy to navigate.

Great accessibility, greens, layout and fun. But you are most undoubtedly on the other side of the track playing this so-so maintained muni. If you are a beginner looking to play an 18 hole course in Monterey you could not do better. Established golfers looking to bruise their egos should look elsewhere.

A parkland course with none of the famous sea views on the prestige courses but still a perfectly enjoyable course with scope for golfers of all abilities. Fairways and greens are generally hard and run well, so club down to stay on the fairway & avoid trips into the cabbage. One green is next to the hotel restaurant & lobby,... More

If you are looking for a great vacation golf course Del Monte is your course. Not overly long, so put your driver away on all but a couple holes. The trick to this course is the greens. I can not remember a course with more breaks. The speed is consistent, but there is not a straight putt on the course.... More

Walkable, greens are small and don't be above the pin, conditions could be better overall, but a really fun golf course that rewards keeping the ball in the fairway. Staff service is outstanding. Special rates are available to NCGA membes.
