We live nearby Lake San Antonio and were shocked that there was no water in the lake!! The entire park and lake were deserted like a ghost town. We've never seen it like this and hope California gets a generous amount of rainfall this year. I don't know what they'll do for the triathlon Wildflower Festival that is held here... More

Great campsite with lakeviews. Fun for the whole family, the store even had movie nights out on the lawn.

My husband is not a camper. Having grown up camping I miss the experience. Extended family and friends were going camping in RVs for the President's day weekend and I decided to rent one of the modular homes on the South shore of the lake so that we could join them. The units were very reasonably priced and quite roomy.... More

Lake San Antone, what I call it, is nothing less than awsome. It's a place where you go with your family and enjoy the outdoors. No news, no tv, no movies. Somewhere you go and do nothing or everything, away from it all. Amenities are at hotels and luxury resorts, my friends, this is camping! Pull up, pitch a tent,... More

Taking the road up from Hwy 1, the winding Nacimiento Road, thus alone is a rememberable trip. We visited with friends -- who camped out at Lake San Antonio -- before going on to King City.

A very nice area for boating and picnic. We had a great time here. Would highly recommend it to others.

What was once a quiet remote lake is now crowded with rude boaters who feel compelled to blast music at all hours and throw their garbage in the lake. Too bad..it used to be nice. There have been instances of gang related violence in the camping areas.

My family all met at Lake San Antonio the Week before Labor Day. While they all stayed on the North Shore we stayed at the south shore in a Cabin. The lake itself was nice (we like Lake Berressa better) and not too many people on it. The cabins are little modular units with two, three and four bedrooms. They... More

Went camping here on Labor Day Weekend of 2012. Our tent is so big you can park a mini van in it. We were happy to see that after a long day of driving (and exhausting all possibilities at nearby Lake Nacimiento), we had no trouble finding a big flat camp site for our massive tent and without having a... We have been to several lakes, but after playing in the water with my baby for 5 min. My feet were covered in really small leeches. About 100 on each foot that wouldnt come off. So disgusting. We did catch 3 catfish pretty easy and that was cool! You can camp right on the water, but for us it isn't... More
