They charge $10.00 per car to make the drive but the scenery is worth it. Even if you are not a golfer(I'm not), you can't help but be impressed by Pebble Beach Golf Course and the greens sitting on cliffs overlooking the Pacific.

Take your time and enjoy nature. Wild life, surfers, waves, rocks, something simple and at the same time one of the wealthiest places. But with nobele style

This place is calm and serene, away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. It is worth visiting.. If you have the time, you should spend a complete day here!

If not in a rush and wish to see more of the area then do it. My wife and I combined it with a trip to Pebble Beach Golf Club. Having decided that we would not pay $435 to play a visit was still a must. We paid the $10 entry fee to 17 Mile Drive but had it taken... More

It's totally worth spending the $10 to drive through as this is one of the nicest scenic drives we came across on our trip to California. There are lots of places to pull over and take pictures but still traffic is quite busy especially in the summer.

I have been taking this drive for about 20 years. Always beautiful, some amazing houses and a lot of nice pull outs to look at the amazing views. It does cost to get in, can't remember how much. If you are going around the time Pebble Beach is having it's celebrity golf tournament, you will not be able to get... More

Visited this place infinite number of times with family and friends. Lot of scenic spots and great restaurants to dine in or lot of picnic spots if you bring food from home.

Worth a visit if you have never been to the cost before. Has great views of the pacific and the mansions that are along it. However it cost $10 to drive the road.

Although it is counter intuitive, 17 mile drive is the best in the winter, when there is little fog and few crowds. Bundle up and take your time. If you can, start the drive early - around 9am, take your time and bring a picnic. You can also get lunch at the Golf Course.
