Homes around Pebble Beach are very nice as are the views of the surf. Be sure to stop along the way to enjoy both.

Well worth the experience, yes you have to pay $10 for a road, which I believe is a joke, but it is a great road with some great sights and beaches. You just have to do it!

The views of the ocean were amazing - likewise the trees and homes. Well worth renting a bike and doing the circuit. But as you near the end (on the south) there is a significant hill separating you from Monterey, so backtracking is the best option (unless you like hills )

So it's 10 buck to drive this, it would have been worth the money if we had planned to stop and hang out at some of the beaches. Nice scenic drive about 1/3 of the time its beaches, the rest is windy roads and mansions...Next time I would just turn around at the Cypress Trees and go back the other... More

Loved this drive ! Amazing scenery with loads of places to stop off and enjoy the vistas. If you`re a golfer it will probably mean more to you but its more than just views of stunning courses. The abundant wildlife and wild nature that surrounds you is stunning. Stop at Pebble Beach for lunch and have a look in the... More

There are many things to see all along 17 mile drive. If you are a nature lover you will enjoy the lone cyprus, the Ghost tree, Bird Island and the seals. If you are a fan of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" you will be thrilled by the mansions on display. And if you are a golfer, there are... More

The road was in great condition, and many pull-off areas are provided to admire the incredible scenery and take photos. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and stopped for lunch at Pebble Beach.

The scenery is absolutely breath taking, we enjoyed every minute of it. There weren't too many cars when we visited which made it easier to move around. We didn't stop at all the vista points as some of them are quite close together. Well worth the $10 entrance fee.

Gorgeous drive including a drive through Pebble Beach. Most areas are right along the coast. The $10 toll is worth it.

On the way to Monterey I decided to take the 17 mile drive. For the first part of the drive coming from Carmel there is really not much to see and I was kicking myself that I paid wealthy people $10 to see some nice but not really exciting homes...then I came to the coast. The coast is beautiful and... More
