Several people had told us to make sure we did this drive, there was nothing overly spectacular about it. They charge $10 for the pleasure of driving it. It was lovely to drive down into the Peble Beach Golf Club and get a look around it.

I absolutely love driving 17 Mile Drive. It's my second home. I was married on Spanish Bay in 2012. First of all, the scenery is to die for, then their is the world class golf including Spanish Bay, Spyglass, and Pebble Beach. Every August the car enthusiasts come from all over the world to participate in the Concours de' Elegance... More

My husband and I only had about an hour or so, so we decided to do this drive. Some of the greatest views of the Pacific Coast can be found here. Of course, the Lone Cyprus Tree is also amazing to see. We also got to see some seals, Pebble Beach golf course, and some amazing homes. If you are... More

A breathtaking drive. There are many places to pull over & enjoy the scenery. We sat on a bench just above the beach for 30 minutes to soak it all in. It sure helps to relax one! Wish we could have stayed the entire afternoon! A blanket & a good book would have been great items to bring along if... More

We drove from Monterey all the way to Carmel. We made several stops along the way to enjoy the ocean and see some of the sights. The golf courses and big homes are also impressive to see.

It takes a few hours of driving time to get there from the San Francisco Bay Area, but the 17-mile drive is definitely worth it. The beautiful scenery really only gets started south of Monterey. The views are best taken when driving southwards, as there's a clear view of the ocean to the right-hand side. I would also recommend stopping... More

Really enjoyed 17 mile drive. Entered at the Pacific Grove Gate. Shopped at Pebble Beach Pro Shop. Very nice staff at the Pro Shop. Took pictures at the "Lone Cypress" stop. Plenty of places to stop the car, get out, enjoy the views and take pictures. Cost if $10 per car. Exited at the Carmel/Rte 1 exit right into "Carmel... More

Absolutely stunning drive through this stretch of road between Carmel and Monterey. Definitely worth the time and expense to drive it. Stunning ocean views, and lots of places to pull over and snap pix.
