what can you say about the California coast generally!! Just about the best scenery on earth, and of course enhanced on a sunny and windy day. The sight and sounds of the surf breaking is truly awe inspiring!!!!! Plus the accompanying wind swept trees!!

All the vista points are spectacular as you walk for miles along the ocean, eventually connecting to the trail through Pacific Grove and Monterey.

Crowds. Try a visit on non busy days of the week. A visit or stop at the Pebble Beach shops may be a waste of time. Those seem to be for the elitists. However, those are good for them.

Out of our travels sighseeing from LAX to SFO, this was my favorite. There aren't words to adequately describe the beauty of the coast line, the winding, bending roads, the 5 pristine golf courses, the homes that cost millions of dollars with views to die for. Stop at your leisure at spots meant to park and take pictures, watch golfers... More

You can discover the wonderful views and places around Carmel and Pacific Grove without money-paying. The spots on the"17-Mile-Drive" were full of mostly asian tourists. Be careful: They have problems with their driving: Taking fotos WHILE driving!

Well worth the $10.00 fee. Great addition to our coastal tour. Beautiful coastal views and if you golf, wow. Gorgeous homes along the way. Don't forget the lone cypress.

If you do anything else, you have to do this if you are in the area. Well worth the $10 fee to enter.

I was a little hesitant about taking this drive because it costs $10, but it was totally worth it. A map with recommended stops is provided, and the drive takes about two hours if you stop at several of them and check things out. It is also the only way to see the famous lone cypress in Pebble Beach.
