Wonderful views along this drive. The ocean is beautiful, and the homes are magnificent. Deer along the fairways.
Ten Dollars to do the drive per car, and if you eat at one of the restaurants make sure you take your receipt, as the $10 is deducted from your bill. Beautiful ride, we stopped along the way. Enjoyed walking the golf course area as well.
Very nice drive on this road. And awesome views to take beautiful pictures! Take you time to admire the landscape and do not hesitate to get out of your car for short walk. It is worth the price, no doubt.
We had never been, so it was a sight to see. I had hubby reading me the map passed to us at gate. So that we could know if we passed anything, as pull outs and restrooms etc. The only thing was not visible by sight or signs was restaurants that were put on map? Got to see seals and... More
Want to see how the one percenters live? This drive/tour is the place to do it. Unbelievable homes, beautiful views, breathtaking shoreline, and golf courses most people can only dream about playing. This drive is worth doing once as after a while the lavish life style displayed begins to wear on the rest of us not as fortunate.
Beautiful drive and be sure to notice the seals barking along the coast. You will want to get out of your vehicle to walk along the edge and view the seals. This is where the binoculars will come in play. This attraction is worth the time!
We came very early one morning, just after sunrise and we were the only ones around. So beautiful and picturesque! Just us and nature!! Saw deer wandering the golf course- so cute! Be sure to stop at Bird Rock- amazing with all the sea birds, seals and sea lions playing around! Also liked the Lone Cypress and Ghost Tree. Well... More
It was a pretty day, but our party of four found this a little boring. Hard to see thought the trees the beauty of the coastline and the homes. We just did the outer loo and then went into Carmel to walk around.
But $10. The road around Pacific Grove and Carmel Beach and the highway down to Big Sur and Point Lobos State Park all combine for way more beauty than 17 Mile Drive could ever offer.
