Being from Florida, I don't get to see whales. It has been on my bucket list for years to see these beautiful creatures and finally I got to. We saw 18 hump backs and a school of long nose dolphins and it was incredible! However, I am a little disappointed we didn't get to see them as close as it... More

This was an amazing experience and the staff was super friendly and informative! It was hard to hear the biologist who was talking because the speakers weren't placed where he could be heard anywhere on the boat. Some areas you could hear him better than others, this is our only complaint. We brought sea sick pills just in case we... More

We were on the 9am trip on the Blackfin Catamaran; that said I would highly recommend taking travel sickness tables beforehand; we did and were fine but others were not so good and it can get quite choppy. We headed out into the bay past the Sea lions on the pier, we also saw a Sea Otter. Once in the... More

We saw 9 whales, and about 200 dolphins. An amazing experience, the boat was fully booked, however we felt able to see everything and it seemed very roomy. Quite rocky out to sea - I recommend sea sickness tablets!

We took the morning tour at 09:00 AM on the Blackfin. A catamaran which is a bit more stable on the sea. We were overwhelmed by the amount of humpback whales, common dolphins and risso's dolphins we saw. The company heard about killer whales being in the neighbourhood and did their utmost to reach them. Instead of 4 hours we... More

We took a morning trip with this company and were rewarded with many Humpback Whale sightings and two large pods of Long-nosed Common Dolphins (as well as various seabirds, sunfish etc.). Some people might find a four hour trip a little long, especially in rough seas, but I guess a shorter trip would reduce the chance of such fantastic whale... More

I know that trips vary with what you see, but we definitely got lucky. The staff counted 32 humpback whales around our boat displaying all their different moves. A school of dolphin and a raft of sea lions. Great trip and a wonderful experience.

We took a morning 9 am trip to watch whales. Half hour into our trip we saw some 50-60 dolphins in a pod who stayed with us for 15 mins or so. After 15-20 more minutes we spotted some humpback whales and later some fin whales. I thought trip was little too long and 3 hours would have been ideal.... More

Whale watching is always tricky. It's a bunch of skill with the captain and his crew, but then some luck. We saw many whales this time, although none were 'performing' (breeching, etc.) We saw humpbacks and orcas. Of course, you can only see what is in the bay and what animals decide to show themselves. This crew seemed very good... More
