Very good, saw humpbacks breaching and lunching. Dolphins, sun fish, seals. Good explanations throughout. Perhaps the boat could have had a little more space, apparently a new one has just arrived. Gave us a good recommendation for restaurant.

The crew was nice and knowledgable. Boat (Sea Wolf II) was clean and in good working order. I felt safe and comfortable...as comfortable as one can be; it IS out on the ocean, after all. Dress warmly, no matter what the temp is on shore. A windbreaker is a good idea. We were very lucky and the whales cooperated; putting... More

My friends and I had a great time on this tour. We did the AM excursion and ended up seeing around 12 humpback whales, with 2 coming right up to the boat for a closer look - it was incredible, never experienced anything like it! We also saw dolphins and sun fish, too. Our guide was a marine biologist, and... More

If you want an excellent whale watching experience in the Monterey Bay Area this is the provider to go to. Went for a 4 and a half hour whale watching experience yesterday morning and saw blue, fin and humpback whales, dolphins and sun fish. The highlight of the trip was when a blue whale came close to the boat, circled... More

We booked the 9am tour and it was just fantastic. We saw 7 humback whales (one even coming out of the water feeding), several dolphin species and sun fish. A lot of marine birds, seals, sea lions and even an elephant seal. It was a great experience. The marine naturalist was really friendly and answered all of the questions without... More

Easy to book online. Price was fair. Easy check in. Boats are relatively small, fitting about 40 people. Definitely take seasickness pills as the boat rolls a lot. Dress in layers because it definitely gets chilly and wet. Isaiah was our onboard biologist and was great - very knowledgable and enthusiastic. We saw 4-5 whales, sea otters and sea lions.... More

This was my first time doing something like this, went on the 7/20 1400 trip, saw lots of whales! The staff was great, I had my dog, who has also never done anything like this and they were really nice and tolerant with her. I plan on doing this again! Thanks! Linda

We went on a whale watch the last week of June 2015. I was very surprised at the number of whale sightings we had- upwards of 10. Boat was comfortable. The only drawback is the bathroom facilities, which are not the greatest. They have a toilet pedal you step on to flush and they are very small and not the... More

We went for the 9am tour as the other ones are shorter. The boat is not too big - I noticed that there were boats from other companies that were bigger and looked newer. The marine biologist aboard with us was extremely nice - she answered all our questions and provided little tid-bits of trivia about Monterey bay animals when... More

Yesterday we saw a pod of at least four Orcas, Killer Whales, (which aren't really whales, but dolphins). We also saw 2 humpback whales frolicing in the Pacific. Seeing the whales is only part of a great whale watching experience. It takes the entire crew of caring people to turn a ho-hum trip into a completely delightful experience. And that's... More
