We had an amazing trip, seeing about 20 Humpback whales. The staff, both on shore and on the boat were amazing and could not have been more helpful or friendly. Be prepared for the sea, it was cold and rough on our trip but it is worth it. I could not recommend them highly enough, a once in a lifetime... More

We chose this because of the great reviews, friendly and helpful quayside staff and because it was an adult only boat (we saw many small children being taken on these trips and it is not really a good idea). The boat was well equipped for safety and had good commentary. We saw 4/5 humpbacks and a calf put on a... More

We had a wonderful and exiting trip, evenwith some friendly whales, we could almost kiss them! This organization really knows what they are doing and take enough time to enjoy and watch them.

This company is an excellent way to see the whales. The smaller boat helps eliminate dealing with a ton of tourist and the naturalist do a good job of engaging people in the whale sightings and biology behind the sea life.

I really didn't expect to see so many dolphins and whales before the trip (as i've done a whale watch in Boston and not see a single watch). It was an amazing experience seeing 200 over dolphins just swimming in a group - was breathtaking. We saw 2 different species of dolphins that day. After that, were whales and more... More

We did see a lot of whales and we were very lucky that one of them came up right next to our boat. It was beautiful... And scared me as I thought it could easily tip the boat over :) The staff was very friendly and checked with all the guests if they were having a good time. If some... More

There are two main companies that vie for your business on a Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey. Essentially both involve a one hour boat ride into the bay to see whatever type of whale is currently active. For us, it was humpbacks. The first company is located directly on the main walkway fo the wharf. It runs a large ship with... More

Having heard so much about whale watching at Monterey Bay we booked a trip when we arrived [we arrived late and got down to the front around 7-8 pm.] A lot of the tours had sold out for the following day. 3 hour trip = $45 per adult, $35 for children. NO UNDER 5's. I don't know if we were... More

Oh my! Our evening whale watching tour was absolutely incredible and we are so thankful that we thought to book in advance. We saw 17 humpback whales and at least 4 of them came within 10ft of the boat which was breathtaking. Our guide and captain were very knowledgable and they were able to explain all of the behaviours clearly.... More

Whale watching is a must with this company. The staff are so knowledgable as they are marine biologists that not only do you come away from a 3 hr plus trip having seen Whales. Two types of dolphins, sea lions and sea otters, plus other fish they may point out to you as they find them as the boat travels.... More
