Our kids had a lot of fun. The park is thoughtfully designed with traditional playgrounds and plenty of places to climb and tunnels to crawl through. Well worth the visit.

I remember going to this park as a kid (my mom still has the pictures), so I figured it was only natural to take my children here when we recently visited Monterey. Finding the park was very easy, although the parking is a bit tough when you come while a baseball game is going on or the park is in... More

After a two hour tour at the Aquarium, this is a must for young kids let them run around for a couple of more hours and they will have fun and be more tried by the end of the day. Plus it is not to far from the Aquarium and it is free. Took our grandkids there and by 5:30... More

Decently kept park with very good play area for the young'uns. I felt very safe, here. It was clean, garbage emptied, and restrooms well enough cleaned even though open to all. If only they could import a beam of sunlight on foggy days to illuminate my personal picnic table... Good spot for that moment to let the kids rip around... More

We discovered the park when we were looking for something to do Thanksgiving morning. We were visiting relatives and staying at a local hotel. This turned out to be a great place to let the kids run around before getting ready to visit family.

This is a fun little get away. If you need a break from the beach just to let the kids run, this is a good option. There is plenty to do and just about anything for kids you can think of.

When in Monterey always take the kids to the Aquarium, have a nice lunch and then let them run off their steam here. Lots of different play equipment. So sad the train is no longer accessible but it only takes one to screw it up for everybody. We are from out of town and always friendly local kids to play... More

We took out 4 and 6-year-old grandsons after a trip to the Aquarium. They really enjoyed it. Taking lunch might be a good idea next time. The park is a great place to burn off some energy.

A great park for the kids. A climbing wall, three play structures, a suspension bridge, slides, lots to do for little ones. That means it can get crowded. Park closes at sunset. There is a place to rent paddle boats for a trip around the small lake too.
