We took out 4 and 6-year-old grandsons after a trip to the Aquarium. They really enjoyed it. Taking lunch might be a good idea next time. The park is a great place to burn off some energy.

A great park for the kids. A climbing wall, three play structures, a suspension bridge, slides, lots to do for little ones. That means it can get crowded. Park closes at sunset. There is a place to rent paddle boats for a trip around the small lake too.

We took our 1 year old daughter here while on vacation, and what a cool park! There were lots of play structures for kids of various ages, and she had a great time. It is so nice to have such a big park for her to be able to run out some energy while on vacation.

no parking fee, park like setting. You can walk and feed the birds in the pond or you can rent a paddle boat for a small fee. Kids love it here. benches, tables for a picnic

There are so many fun activities to do for toddlers to older children at the park. From swings to racing across the suspension bridge, to multiple slides, this is just a neat place to spend several hours. I went in April with 2 grandsons, (7 and 9) and a nephew (3) with their parents. Everyone had a great time for... More

We spent a good 3 hours here on our last trip to Monterey. My kids loved it, and it was so nice to have something free to do in one of our favorite California vacation destinations, Monterey! I say, pack a picnic and make a day of it.

This park is great. There are more play gyms in this one park than many towns have in public parks. Everyone will want to try the roller slide, feels like your a UPS box. The rock wall is wonderfully complex for beginners and advanced children. There is also a skate park behind the main facilities, and paddle boat pond nearby... More

We stopped here when we first arrived in Monterey. It gave our 6-year-old a chance to stretch her legs and killed some time until check-in at our motel. Monterey County schools started early, so there were almost no kids at the park. My daughter still enjoyed running around and exploring. It felt like we were getting close to the upper... More
