Beware the goose droppings, aquatic bacteria warnings and homeless settling in for the evening...once inside, this is a great place for kids and parents to blow off steam after a long day at the aquarium. Rock climbing, swinging bridges, and mazes all add up to a good time.

We took our three grandkids, ages 6, 10 and 11 to the park on a Sunday morning. It was grey and cool but when we arrived, they were so excited we were all put in a good mood. They loved the climbing wall and the rope bridge and we spent so much time there we never got to the lake... More

Dennis the Menance Park is a pretty city park with a lake. On the lake one can rent paddle and row boats to go out on the lake. There is also a fun children's playground. We have also enjoyed walks in the park. When we go, we normally find a place to park on the street.

travelled with toddlers, the park was nice but so crowed with big/ teens that the little ones were in danger of being run over, the bigger kids were agressive and rude, went back the next morning before 10 am and park was nicer

This is really a great park for the kids. It seemed like they would have a lot of fun here with all the climbing equipment and little hills. I saw tons of parents having fun too! There is a free parking lot and the entrance to this park is free. It's a win-win!

We were on a bike ride and stumbled upon on the park. Having a toddler and preschooler in our group made this stop a no brainer. This is a large playground with plenty to do. Lots of slides, swings, rock walls, and other equipment for any child to use up a bit of their energy. Adults and children enjoyed themselves,... More

My kids had a blast. My oldest son at first claimed he was too old at 11. However, he was playing with his sister after watching for a few minutes.

It is where I grew up... nothing fancy. Spend hundreds of days there as a kid and have dropped by there many times over the past forty years when I visit my old home town. It has changed some over the years, but still has a similar feel to it.

This was the first place we stopped after our 2 hour drive to Monterey. Our 4 children couldn't wait to get out and run wild. They were so sad when it was time to go and eat lunch.

This is a must visit spot if you have small children. It is one of the best public parks that I've been to over the years. I must say that I'm probably a little biased because I went there in the 60's and it was such a fun place to visit as a kid. I just visited it with my... More
