If your toddler or young child needs to burn off some excess energy, Dennis the Menace park is for you. Spread out over a generous area, this park offers the usual climbing structures, but also other features that are unusual, including a rope bridge, a maze, a roller slide down a hillside and concrete culvert tunnels for exploring. There are... More

This is a kids park, and it's cute--lots of slides and swings and things you can climb on. I recommend it if you have kids! But only if you can control them. Some were pretty out of control.

What a fantastic play park. Lots of stuff for younger kids and older ones as well. My son loved the small maze. This park was quite busy

A great place for the kids to run off some steam, and get their wiggles out. Lots to explore. A fun park. Short walk from the Monterey Bay Lodge.

Found this park on trip advisor (that's why I use TA) when we were staying in Monterey. It was walking distance from our hotel, just over the road from the beach and had loads of stuff for kids up to aged 12. What a great find, free parking too if not on foot. Toilets clean and accessible from the park.

Very good for kids. Some good things for adults too. Unique and interesting park, very sizeable. Nice place for a family picnic.

Just stumbled across this park driving around one day while visiting Monterey. Unreal that this park is free to the public! Hedge maze, huge slides, Locomotive, snack bar, clean restrooms! Highly recommended place to take the kiddos to burn off some energy!

The park has swings, climbing walls , slides and bars for the kids. It is a large park outside the downtown area a bit. The park is also nearby a lake where you can rent water vehicles to peddle around.Really affine park fun for the whole family.

Stopped by and rode the paddle boats and watched the kids run around and have a great time. The geese - water and area make for a great and enjoyable experience.

It is rare nowadays to see a city work so hard to provide entertainment for their younger population; Monterey definitely has excelled! With lots of tunnels, things to climb on, and a sheer dedication of space, it is fantastic. Unfortunately it looks like our litigious society has caused the close down of the real world locomotive to climb on; hopefully... More
