Nice visit to the wharf

We went on a Friday night. The weather was great and we enjoyed walking down the pier. Lots of restaurants and shops. Enjoyed it. Clean

This is really nothing like the San Francisco Wharf. Not very long and mostly restaurants. There is a nice silver shop with lots of options and good prices if you're looking for trip gifts. One interesting thing is that every restaurant has it's own clam chowder. As you wander down the wharf, they are all outside offering tastes of their... More

Pretty views..but lots of homeless, but that's San Francisco. They have taken over the city at this point.

Had fun window shopping at all of the shops and rented a cycle buggy to ride down to the Bay. All six of us fit, it was a good workout!

Better food to be had up and down the coast as well as locally. Not bad, just seemed a bit generic and lacking the effort. It's easy to sell when you are a tourist hotspot. The walk is nice enough but not too diverting. Don't plan on making an evening of it. Pleasant enough .

We had a glorious Sunday morning today. It was very relaxing to just park and watch the wather/waves. We had breakfast on the wharf as well. A very nice Sunday morning!

Good place for clam chowder and sea food in general. Try the samples and find your favorite. Seas food lover will get not just catch of the day, but catch of the hour. For our personal favorite go to the place on the fishing pier next door. Even if you don't intend to splurge on seafood here, Fisherman's Wharf is... More

This is my favorite area in Monterey: beautiful bay scene, lovely atmosphere, and lots of seafood - Definitely the last part because as a huge seafood fan, how can I deny this place? Even if you don't intend to splurge on seafood here, Fisherman's Wharf is still a great place to stroll around especially in a beautiful sunny day or... More

Beautiful area that cant be missed! Sea life abounds - Pelicans, Sea lions, and Otters are frequent visitors. Some lovely seaside restaurants can be found as well.

I found this place really nice with lots to see and do. It's a great place to take photographs and would recommend it. Also lots of fish restaurants to tempt you as well as trips out to sea to view live whales and dolphins
