Love the Monterey Bay Aquarium where you can spend all day marveling at exceptional exhibits, sights and food! Kayaking, snorkeling, scuba, biking, fishing are just part of what I've done and it's been so much fun! You can eat so many great meals here that you get to hike up and down amazing trails on the beach, up into the... More

Anyone who enjoys wildlife of any kind will love Monterey Bay. You can see Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, and Sea Otters 24hrs a day. There are many species of birds as well. If animals aren't your thing try the beach. The one located at Lover's Point (great rocks and vistas), is shielded from the wind at all times making it... More

For the fourth time in 15 years we rented kayaks from Adventures By The Sea (on Cannery Row) and set out on the Ocean. While keeping the recommended distance you can still get up close to sea otters, seals and pelicans. A must-do when in Monterey!

Monterey is so much quieter and relaxed than the always congested Carmel. The restaurants are good and friendly, especially Bistro Moulin - fabulous French, Tarpy's Roadhouse and the Crown & Anchor Pub with a huge array of British Navy artifacts.

The scenery and the fresh ocean breezes cascade all around you. Daytime scenes evolve into night time twinkling of moonlight and city lights. Truly a pleasure on earth.

The perfect place to sit back and relax. Watch the sunset and watch the waves of the water. The beauty is priceless.

Everything you have dreamed Monterey coastline would be comes true here. Trees coming down out of fog covered hill to meet the rocks and the sea. Visit the rock statues on the beach down by Cannery Row.

Monterey is one of my favorite holiday destinations. One feels rejuvenated by just watching beautiful waves and amazing scenic beauty. The four seater bicycle ride is awesome. The long walk and sitting at restaurants by the bay (Ghirardelli cake and ice cream store is one of them) are not to be missed. Aquarium is again a part of this sweet... More
