This is meant for tourist shopping so expect what that brings - postcards, t-shirts, food, etc. My family enjoyed strolling through the shops and walking along the bay area. There is interesting history here and enough to do that you can take a nice walk, stop for refreshments out by the bay and have plenty of shopping choices. There are... More

“Worth a Visit”

This is obviously a tourist trap, but several of the stores are worth a look, and we love Bubba Gumps! Many of the stores and restaurants are right on the ocean, many of the sweatshirts are reasonably priced. If you are visiting Monterey for the first time, Cannery Row is a must! More

It's a nice little walk with lots of shops and cafes along the way. I'd recommend stopping for a sweet treat at Nestle Toll House. They have wonderful ice cream and pastries!! ;) More

It's nice to spend the afternoon there. Besides all the souvenir shops and restaurants, there are a lot of signs telling you about the history of it which make the visit very interesting and instructive. Nice views of the bay too. More
