This aquarium was well planned. The staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful. The exhibits were top notch and interesting. Was able to view otters and dolphins from the viewing deck. You can get to this deck for free too. Well worth the time and cost to go. I will compare future aquariums to this one. More

Monterey Bay Aquarium was included in my road trip with my girlfriend to San Francisco. We found free street parking couple blocks away from the aquarium, which was not too bad to accomplish. Beatiful experience. The facility is fabulous and provides such a great educational opportunity for all ages. Best time to visit is on a weekday. A bit pricey but worth it. More

If you like marine life, you will be in heaven here at this exceptional aquarium. A professional staff makes this experience one to remember. “Get there for the deep ocean feeding time”

Mostly, this is just an aquarium... However, the deep ocean tank is something else - I won't spoil it for you - but the finale of the feeding is spectacular. I've seen some good stuff, and this is in the top ten. More

The Aquarium is so wonderful anyway, and right now there is the Seahorses Exhibit, which was beautiful. Not only did they many different seahorses from around the world, but two different types of seadragons, spectacular! More

You can see sea otters, sea lions, octopus, tropical fish etc at almost any aquarium but in Monterey YOU MUST see the seahorses. Not Just one species but several are beautifully displayed. We spent about 3 hours in the exhibits and thouroughly enjoyed ourselves! More
