Expensive $30 for adults $17 for kids, Totally not worth the money. but thats my opinion. Everybody else that know the area and have been in the aquarium think its amazing only cool thing i found was the gobbles, and they have a lot of those. more
My family had a great time at the aquarium this past weekend. The seahorse exhibit was incredible! The staff was incredibly helpful and informative. The Great White Shark was amazing to see. My girls loved the tidepool exhibit as well as the penguin exhibit. A favorite was standing underneath the glass enclosure and watching the tide bring the ocean over... more
This halloween weekend was my third time to this aquarium. I love the location. They seem to have some of the most advanced research programs out there and I love how they also promote conservation and environmental awareness. While there we saw their 5th great white shark and we enjoyed the presentation about her. The seahorse exhibition was my favorite.... more
I was expecting more for the price. I thought the layout was bad...couldn't figure out where to go and where we had been. Should be arrows or something directing which way to go. Thankfully it wasn't busy during the week. This one seems more designed for kids, so for 2 adults, we didn't enjoy it as much as we thought... more
We just visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium yesterday. Two seniors and one adult. If you have AAA membership and are looking for discount tickets you may want to purchase them from AAA. Wonderful family adventure. Educational and fun. Exhibits were geared for every age. Jellyfish tank intriguing. Worth the price of admission. Well staffed and designed. more
Don't go on a weekend in the summer, it is super crowded, but outside of that, the aquarium is amazing! more
i went to the monterey aquarium last month. absolutely loved it! the seaohrse exhibit is so kool. the sea otters are always cute. i love the atmosphere. i got lucky and got a good price cuz i was able to combine the student discount and the coupon. ^^ will go again if there are new exhibits. ^^ more
go straight to the jelly fish first it gets crowded then to the seahorses after them you can cruise through the rest more
My family spend whole day there. My kids of 6 and 9 just loved it and didn't want to leave. more
