This is a very nice, quiet and beautifull beach to just rest and aprecciate the natural environment around. It´s a very clean space, no surfers around and you can eat just in front of it in a nice restaurant.

We come here frequently throughout the year for beach walks or just to hang out with our beach chairs, cooler, hats and books to read and enjoy the ambiance! This beach is gorgeous and fun to hang at. Butterfly Beach is located across the street and a fabulous place to visit as well! :-)

Sitting on the wall at Butterfly beach in the afternoon is one of life's little pleasures. Take a small picnic and enjoy sitting in the sun watching the ocean and everybody having fun. A great place to take little kids!

I love to see the sun at butterfly in winter, and it has to be one of the loveliest beach walks around. Either up the path in your shoes or down the beach in the water in your bare feet before or after a cocktail at the Biltmore!

This is my favorite beach in Santa Barbara. It can get crowded at times, but overall I think this is a Gem.

Nice, friendly beach, but may get disrupted when Hotel Miramar is demolished. Depending on tide, can walk a long way.

We really liked this beach!! There was gorgeous sand and a gentle surf. We flew kites and threw a Frisbee around. The only downside, was there was no public bathroom, so we had to sneak across the street to the Biltmore Hotel and use theirs...you had to look like you belonged in the 4 star hotel, but we managed!! :)... More

Nice beach, beautiful sunsets. Watch the dolphins and seals play in the water. Tons of paddleboarders, kayakers, swimmers, and people walking their dogs in the sand. Drawback: there is some tar on the beach so you may notice some on your bare feet.

What is not to love at Butterfly Beach? As a photographer I loved shooting the beautiful sunsets.....
