While we enjoyed our stay in Santa Barbara we didnt care for some of the riff raff on the beaches. We rented bikes and rode over to Butterfly Beach and enjoyed an afternoon of football and strolling on the beach. Very pretty and clean, The kids jumped in the water.

This is pretty much a strip of sandy beach, but good for a stroll either along the beach or on the path above it. Perhaps it is broader when the tide is lower. The view of the ocean is always spectacular. The hotel had a sign up when I was there re seepage and tar, but none was visible when... More

Great walking beach as well as one to sun on or wait for low tide and swim out from. Often sightings of dolphins and whales occur here. Great sunset spot and across from the Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel.

Grab a lawn chair or blanket, the Sunday News Press or New York Times, something from Starbucks and find the concrete stairs to the Beach. Just across from the Montecito Biltmore, Four Seasons Resort you will hear many different languages on the beach. This is upscale, beautiful and a delightful way to spend any time you have. Morning, Noon, Sunset... More

Beautiful beach opposite the four seasons hotel. Montecito is the slightly richer area of Santa Barbara. Easy to drive & park nearby

A small but beautiful beach, it seems mainly frequented by local people. You have to know your tides or there's no sand - only waves. It's right by the Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel and the houses facing the beach are lovely plus plenty of classic cars around. The waves can be a bit wild - two of us suffered cuts... More

While not easy to park on a Saturday, this is a prime spot for people watching or taking a dip in the ocean at one of Santa Barbara's prime beaches. During the week it can be isolated, especially if the weather is not great, but weekends can be packed during summer. Kayak and SUP boards available for rent Thursday through... More

Beautiful beach, we took early morning paddle board lessons and it could not have been better. The water was so calm, perfect for beginners.

What a beautiful beach! We came and watched the sunset. We sat on the sand while doggies ran by and couples walked holding hands. What a peaceful place.
