Only hiked at Van Damme State Park as we were staying at a nearby property. Fern Canyon Trail is all it's cracked up to be — a beautiful hike through the redwoods. The trail is easy, comfortable, and actually paved (thanks to the CCC), but covered in soft needles. The forest is truly awe-inspiring, saw some wildlife and very few... more
