This is a family destination for us when we visit the South Lake Tahoe area. On the deck, they have a great Father's Day BBQ (ribs, chicken, slaw, corn-on-the-cob and an amazing cobbler) that we never miss. We've also dined inside at the restaurant (usually evenings) as well. It's rustic and inviting and the food is very, very good. Hope... More

The staff was fantastic from the second we got there. They helped with anything from giving advice to getting you fresh towels if you needed them. The grounds were clean and well kept and the cabins are charming. We had a wonderful time eating smores by the campfire and chatting with all the guests. We will definitley go back again!

Got to stay in the chapel cabin- lovely Loved building a fire in the wood-fired sauna and had it to ourselves! Great meals Couple nice trails to hike with spectacular overlooks of the valley

Lot's of nature around you. Depending on the time of year not many places to eat away from Sorenson's but the food there is great.

I have gone to their restaurant a number of times and the food is very good. Since I live in Tahoe, I have not stayed there but have spoken to people who have and they were very satisfied with their stay.

From reading reviews, I think this used to be a better restaurant. The only thing that is ok is their quiche. One visit I had an entree salad, that had turkey and ham in it. The lettuce was wilted. Their burgers are very disappointing especially since they are more expensive than anywhere else, and are not very good.

I was surprised at the amount of traffic and how close the cabins are to the highway. Big trucks all day and night passed by. I was thankful for the pair of ear plugs I had with me. The restaurant was pretty decent however. The other issue was the cabin we stayed in was infested with mice.

We love stopping here while on a motorcycle ride. Good food and atmosphere. Quaint. Service was good. It's outdoors for breakfast and lunch. The drive up or down from here is some of the areas best scenery. Nearby fishing., hiking, biking can't be beat. Put this little spot on your must do list

A favorite stop when we drive visitors around. Great soups and sandwihes and a cobbler big enough to split 3 or 4 ways
