I have always wanted to go fishing but have no experience of it whatsoever. All staff on the boat confirmed this was not an issue and they would help as much as you needed them to including rent of the rod etc. some of the other visitors had their own equipment and definitely knew what they were doing but 2... Went on the 630-300 fishing boat. It was alot of fun and the crew were all great! Very helpful and polite. This was my 3rd time going deap sea fishing on this 2wk vacation, I also went on the half day trip from redondo beach and the half day trip from 22nd street. There is no comparison! On both of... Excellent trip!!!! We had very smooth seas but the best part was the friendliness of the crew! First thing he said on the introduction is "We all paid the same amount to see the same things so there is no saving of seats. If there is someone shorter than you, let them get by the railing." Basically "play nice". We... More

Whales spotted on the AM trip couldnt be found that afternoon and the boat staff were as disappointed as we were but we saw seals in port and a great display by a large amount of dolphins swimming alongside the boat. Great trip well worth the money

A totally fun a relaxing 2 hour whale watching tour on a lovely day. I took advantage of a Groupon deal to go whale watching on a quiet Sunday with Marina del Rey Sportfishing. This was not a fishing trip but rather an excursion to see and respect marine life. The whale watching tour boards off Dock 52. Parking is... More

My husband and I purchased discounted tickets off travelzoo in Feb but were only allowed to make our reservation for April 12th @ 10 am on April 1st as their log book didn't extend that far out. As out of town guests traveling from Toronto they should think about a more efficient way to handle their reservations. It was not... More

I decided to include a little fishing during my stay in LA. This is the second time I have booked this boat and it will not be the last. I made a reservation the night before and I took an Uber to the dock without any problems. It was too rough for the bait boat to get out so we... More

The only reason I gave one star is because the first mate was a nice guy. First of all we purchased our tickets months in advance off of Zerve. Zerve checks availability and then you can purchase your tickets. I was coming from out of state and spending the night so I wanted to make sure that I had tickets... More

Went out to see whales, and we saw a couple of whales playing around. We booked thru Groupon. Easy free parking and easy on boarding. Well organized and easy trip. The people on the boat were very nice and helped out with questions and there were beer, sodas and some candy to buy. 2 well working bathrooms as well. The... More
