Quady Winery produces very good Starboard (Ports). Their dessert wines are some of the very best, Essensia, Elysium, and the Electras. And the Vya vermouth ( sweet, dry, and Whisper) is the best I have ever tasted.

It was or first trip to a winery in Madera. We were staying with family and decide to give it a try. It was good. They work mostly with sweet wines but overall was great tasting the local products. The guys at the tasting bar were very cordial and nice to chat with. They took the time to show us... More

Another great Port winery. However their vermouths are incredible. Both the dry and the sweet have a beautiful herby aroma.

Heading out on a road trip with my sister and this was our first stop…only 3 hours from home. Hey, you wouldn’t want us to get too tired! I had heard about this winery when I first tried their wines. Intriguing, a winery that specializes in sweet wines. When we arrived a party of about 8 women were occupying the... More

My husband & I were headed to Fresno & decided to do a quick trip to a winery, chose Quady Winery. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly & accommodating. Cynthia our guide was very informative and patient with all of our questions. Upon tasting we found the wines to be sweet & delicious!

We stopped at this winery as part of the Madera wine trail for Valentines Day. They carry mostly a sweater Moscato type of wine but they were loved by our group even though they don't usually like the sweeter wine notes. They have great quality wines and paired them nicely with cheese, chocolate shake shots and baklava. I would recommend... More

My husband and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at the Homestead in VA back in 2013. We stopped at a wine shop across from the hotel and the attendant suggested Electra a great moscato with bubbles. This instantly became our favorite dessert wine! Fast forward to 2014 and my husband took a job in that requires him to travel... More

Quady has become renown for their excellent dessert wines. But their tasting room is a lot of fun also. They always have some special wine cocktail they're serving. And there is always much laughing going on as well. Great wine and great tasting.

If this winery was in Napa or Sanoma it would be pretty much ignored. For the Central Valley on the other hand it is well above most of it's competition. While the wines are nothing special, unless you happen to like sweet wines, it is a fun place to spend a couple hours. generally uncrowded and with an attentive staff... More
