I've been visiting Ficklin Vineyards for several years now. Their award winning Ports are fabulous, and they have several events every year open to the public in addition to their daily tasting room, wine trail, and Portfolio Society member events. The people are kind, helpful and informative...and did I mention the Port?

This was the first time I had been wine tasting. I was hoping to find out some info. about the process or anything about wine that would make me like it. I didn't hear anything about that. They did have tons of barrels in the building which looked really neat.
The lady that was at the counter didn't seem very...
