The drive to the vineyards is pretty, the grounds are lovely with a lot of space for picnics. I thought the whole coonskin cap thing was gimmicky, but the wines tasted nice. I wouldn't call anything superb, but definitely enjoyable. They are a bit overpriced, though. I snapped a picture of each label to compare on Vivino. I thought the... More

This is one of the best wineries to visit in the valley. Outstanding wines, great atmosphere and scenic place to relax, enjoy wine and picnic. Only thing missing is food. SB county won't let wineries have restaurants. But bring some snacks and you could spend a day here. The family is actively involved so you are likely to meet them.... More

Water pans full of water outside the door for thirsty pets. Lovely grounds. Good selection of wines, good gifts and friendly personnel.

A beautiful winery with a wonderful and engaging staff. Plus, who could not enjoy an afternoon looking at Daniel Boone memorabilia... and tasting the suburb wines. Joined the wine club too... reasonable price and includes tasting for life, not only there, but at a few other wineries as well, along with special events. Looking forward to heading back up there... After bad experience at Firestone, we came here. Grounds were beautifully manicured. Cute patio to enjoy your wine. Went inside, girl bartender was great! Explained the wines, answered our questions. Wines were very good. Inside was decorated very well.such a pleasant experience overall.

We were on the Fess Parker Inn wine tasting package and started our out of town experience here. The drive from the Inn in Los Olivos was easy and we were happily greeted by beautiful vineyards, rose bushes, rolling greens and a magnificent stone tasting room. Once we received our first tasting we were told we could sit outside to... More

We were in the area for a 3 day weekend. This was a very pleasant surprise. A beautiful setting. Attentive service. Coonskin caps to wear in the tasting room if you want. This is a must stop on the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail. Sitting outside on the porch, enjoying the light breeze and sipping wine. We'd do this again and... More

We always loved Fess Parker wines and when in Santa Barbara a few years back, decided to go to the winery. It has become a place for us to always go and visit when we are on the central coast. We pack a picnic lunch and just enjoy ourselves. The tasting room is lovely and the staff has always been... More

My Husband, Father & Mother in Law and I tasted wine at Fess Parker. Not only was the atmosphere fun and welcoming, Karen, our wine tasting hostess was FABULOUS! She was fun, informative and a huge part of our experience. We will make a point of visiting again every time we are in the area...

We stopped for a tasting at Fess Parker and were pleasantly surprised. I had read some mixed reviews about the tasting room. Luis was our pourer and was very knowledgable about not only their wine, but the region's wine. He was able to compare CA wines in a way that was educational. Everyone's palate is different but his points were... More
