Well... Wine tasting costs 12$, the ladies managing the wine tasting are very nice but not wine experts at all, they even serve two different red wines in the same glass. I finally bought the best bottle - a pinot noir costing 56$ - which is not worth at all. California still far away from France in terms of wine... More

A beautiful winery and very nice landscaping and the wine tasting was very good. The people working at the winery were very friendly and made you feel right at home, the next time we are in the area we will be going back to try some nmore great wines.

Far from the crowded wineries of the north, this is a great place to go and buy a bottle or two and enjoy it outside. We were lucky enough to go on a Saturday when they had a band playing and a gourmet food truck. Sure beats the crowded north and the wines were excellent.

One of my all time favorite wineries! Beautiful grounds and great wines. Fess is always a stop when I visit the valley for wine tasting. This is a great spot for a picnic and is usually our lunch stop when we pack food for the day. There are outside seating areas and vast areas to spread a picnic blanket!

We are fans of Fess Parker wines and were pleased to be able to get to their winery. Magnificent location, great variety of wines, friendly staff. Great spot for a picnic or a wedding. Too bad there's no food available to make the visit perfect.

If you want a peaceful afternnon and wine tasting, buy a gourmet sandwich in town or bring a pinic, and visit Fess Parker Winery. If you like to be outdoors with a glass of wine and a bit to eat, spread your blanket out on the beautiful parlike surroundings, grab an outdoor table, or one of the seating arrangements facing... Great winery, wine and grounds. My wife and I have been a wine club member for over 10 years. Whenever we get invited over to anyone's house they want us to bring FESS PARKER WINE. I think that is why we get invited. We visit many wineries, this continues to be our favorite year after year. The winery is in... More

Fess Parker, the famous actor that played the characters of Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone, is the man behind Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard in Los Olivos, California. Mr. Parker passed away about four years ago, but his wines live on through continued ownership of the business by family members. When you pull up into the property you see this... More

How can you not like a place that Fess Parker started. This winery (the site of the famous bucket guzzling scene in Sideways), is beautifully appointed, and filled with delicious wines from the Parker families vineyards. If you are in the area and only visit one winery, make this it. Small fee for tasting unless you join their club (which... More

The drive to the vineyards is pretty, the grounds are lovely with a lot of space for picnics. I thought the whole coonskin cap thing was gimmicky, but the wines tasted nice. I wouldn't call anything superb, but definitely enjoyable. They are a bit overpriced, though. I snapped a picture of each label to compare on Vivino. I thought the... More
