Carhartt epitomizes California wines. The tasting room is relaxed, it feels like you are sitting on a friends patio with good music and beautiful locally made patio furniture. The wines are really really good. The tasting menu consisted of 5 out of 6 reds and each one was fantastic, easy to drink but had complex big flavor. We happened on... More

We visited on a fairly quiet weekday afternoon, so we were invited to kick back in the Adirondack chairs on the shady back deck and our wines were brought out to us at a leisurely pace. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, and no overt sales pitches.

We always stop by Carhartt when we visit Los Olivos. The patio is relaxing. The tasting room itself is very small but an excellent experience as long as it's not too crowded. Go early on the weekend! The wine is good and fairly priced.

Wonderful family and wonderful wines! Get to know their inspirational family story and their delicious wines. Their tasting room/patio is the best in the Santa Ynez region! It's real run by real people -- the Carhartt Family. Bravo.

There's something about this place that just makes you want to stay and hang out. Wines are consistently good and reasonably priced. But the people make this place special.

I love this tasting room. It is conveniently located and the experience is always memorable. We also love the fact that the tasting is free if you purchase two bottles. Their Rose and Reble Rhone are two of my favorites.

We enjoyed tasting their wine while relaxing on their quaint little patio outside of their very tiny tasting room.

We are a small family owned and operated establishment and to hear you enjoyed the experience completes the cycle for us. We are driven to create a genuine connection between us and the consumer. Loved visiting the Carhartt Wine tasting room in Los Olivos. We had the pleasure of being served by Chase Carhartt and learned a great deal about the family winery. He was very friendly and appreciative of our visit. We had the flight of wines (2 whites, a rose, and 3 reds) for $10.00 or you could buy 2 bottles and... More

Passionate wine enthusiasts with great wine, technique, and perspective to back it up. A great place to do some tasting and understand why and how they do what they do.
