Great spot for locals and people of all ages

Wonderful little park for family picnics and other outings. Lots of green space and a bucolic little lake to row, paddle board, kayak, canoe etc.

Love walking in this park and also watching water fowl around the lake. People picnic here. There's also a play area for children and small rowboats and paddleboats available to rent for spending some time on the lake. I can hear the freeway traffic faintly in the distance, at one edge of the park, but this is mitigated by the... More

Family park with a small lake and a swimming pool. Local families definitely spend time here. I wanted to take photos, not much opportunity.

Well worth a visit. Our grandson is very keen on trips to this park and it's a great place for an afternoon outing.

Vasona is a great place to visit for walking or a picnic. There are two large playgrounds, a little train that goes around part of the park and an "old time" carousel. We rode the train every time we went to the park when my kids were young. There are plenty of places to picnic and plenty of walking trails.... More

This park is one of the best features of living in Los Gatos, I come here year round with my dog and ride my bike through the well groomed trails. Summer is superb with the Shakespeare plays and movie nights as well as the boating fun on the lake. Winter is good also as it is not as crowded.

Vasona Lake County Park has something for everyone, there is a train, carousel, play areas for big and small, group picnic areas, large open fields, fishing pond, paddle boats, trails and plenty of trees to find a shady area. In the summer one may find the science camp, and in the winter there is the Festival of Lights. Make it... More

Vasona is a lovely park. You can stroll or bike around the lake, but you can also rent boats, including paddle boards. There is plenty of space for picnicking and relaxing. Vasona Lake County Park connects to Oak Meadow Park in Los Gatos. Just beyond where the two parks meet, is the Billy Jones Railroad and a historic carousel. They... More
