A *great* place to top off your day if you're coming down from Big Basin Redwoods State Park like we were. The wine was good, mostly dry and a better selection of whites than reds. The views, however, were *amazing*. Hike up to the vineyard to get the best view. Hiking around the property is free; tastings cost $12.

Feb of 2015 My wife and I booked our wedding ceremony at Byington. The entire staff from event planner to the two guys working the tasting room were incredible!! They booked us at an extremely fair rate for our low key ceremony (just ten people). They even set up flowers for us as a surprise. The Venue was beautiful and... More

I visited Byington for a tasting and then purchased several bottles to enjoy with our picnic lunch. We were able to snag a shaded table - there were several to choose from when we arrived around 1:30pm. Leashed dogs are allowed which was a nice bonus. The tasting was a lot of fun and I’d definitely come back for another... More

We got married at Byington in July. Very beautiful gazebo on top of a hill overlooking the vineyard and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Wine cave is super cool. Excellent service from Kyle who went out of his way for us, even though he didn't have to.

Two words: Cave Tasting. Both barrel tasting and library reserve tasting are available in the beautiful, candlelit caves where many of the winery's barrels are stored. Bring a picnic to enjoy the spectacular views. Wear your hiking shoes and take a walk around the perimeter of the vineyard, or jump on the "bus" for a tour. This beautiful place is... More

If you haven't been to Byington in awhile, you should try it again soon. Under new ownership/management, the winery is elevated to a higher status. The venue is more beautiful than ever, with elegant touches such as live music Sunday afternoons, cave tours with private tastings/pairings, and weekend tours on their "limo" shuttle to an outlook point. Our group tasting... More

Tasting was 12 dollars. A little steep compared with the free tasting up the road at David Bruce. 1 oz pouts were nice. Friendly staff and music @2 on Sunday.

We went to Byington Vineyard and Winery as our last winery to visit for the day. It had been a busy day as it was a special event week-end (Passport Weekend). Their tasting is $12.00 per person minimum. They have a variety of experiences from tasting to tours to cheese offerings and more. We opted to do a shared tasting.... More

Great place! We enjoyed the presentation given to our group, the tour of the property and enjoyed the excellent wines and reception at the Wine Cave. Service was excellent and recommend to everybody. Byington is a great Winery venue in the Silicon Valley!

Loved this winery! It is only 15 mins from Los Gatos off of Bear Creek. Beautiful weekend drive The winery itself is beautiful. The wine was excellent! I was surprised even though the wine was young, pinot noir 2013, it was wonderful! A MUST VISIT! The people were very informative about the wine and how it is produced. Couldn't think... More
