First, the simulator is outside (which they do not tell you that), so strangers gawk at you as you awkwardly are in the flight tunnel. I'm so sorry for your bad experience. One, as a skydiver I can assure anyone reading this that indoor skydiving is the EXACT same sensation as free fall. Skydivers use tunnels all the time to practice and train. Two, when walking up to the tunnel one sees immediately that it is located right on Universal CityWalk, and others can watch....
My husband and son had so much fun in the vertical wind tunnel. I had almost as much fun watching them. The staff was very good, even with the unaccompanied small children we saw. This was a exciting way to end our Universal experience! more
If you are like me and have always wanted to skydive but don't fancy the 'concrete poisoning' - iFly is for you. We experienced the sensation of having the wind in our hair (and up our nose etc) in a perfectly safe environment on the Universal City Walk.
