We have gone to an American Girl Place every New Year's day since 2012 for my daughter's birthday celebration. We've been to New York, Kansas City, Dallas and now LA. I actually did not mind the 1 hour wait in line to go in to shop since the crowd was not as bad when shopping. My rating for this experience... More

The american girl dolls are treasure for girls but I can say that they're super expensive. I, as an adult enjoy going and visiting the huge store admirable! It teaches good things to girls through the dolls but everything there is expensive from $8-$500+ ! The girls will love it.

We took our daughters to the AG store at The Grove in LA, along with 6 others friends (all on holiday from Australia). We booked a personal shopper who was fabulous. She gave the girls a tour of the store, was really informative & helpful. We also pre booked lunch (via our personal shopper about 6 weeks out), and the... More

Great store! Clean, well organized. Sufficient amount of employees to handle the Christmas rush. They were friendly and very helpful. They made sure I found the item I was looking for.

I went here for my birthday in April last year and we went into the cafe. The food was delicious and I can't wait to go there again! I have a doll named Victoria so we went there to get a outfit. EXPENSIVE! Everything is good except for the prices!

My daughter loved our recent visit! American girl is located at the grove which we loved as well. This store is a young girls dream come true. My daughter enjoyed exploring the store, having her picture taken, and choosing something special to bring home.

Difficult to review - should I review with my own eyes or those of my 7 yrs old? Mom's point of view is that both the store and the café are overpriced. On a summer week evening, the café was near empty (4 families). The food was OK. Appetizer was good, but the hamburger and pasta was bland and not... More

My husband and I took our granddaughter there for dinner at their café. It was a great experience, especially being located at The Grove. The café takes reservations and when you come in they give you 100% attention! The food was even good, for kids and adults. It was a great experience. Of course you will find everything American Girl... More

When my husband was asked what the highlight of our trip to Disneyland was, he stated "my trip the American Girl Doll Store with my family." There were no complaints about how long it took to get from the Anaheim resort we were staying at (almost two hours by car). He and my daughters were fascinated with all that the... More

I have been to this store 3 times since Christmas 2013. My daughters experience is always rated 5 stars. My experience is 3 stars at best. I spent over $$$ several times and didn't receive free parking. Not good. I have had too many issues with AG LA like a doll having destroyed hair after visiting the doll salon, purchasing... More
