IF you have the oppt. to hear some good music this place is small but it's cool feels like a big group of friends just hanging out. You can order a big baked potato too like $10 if your hungry.

It's very intimate music venue. When you get there, you wouldn't believe so many played there ! Minimum two drink policy, food is optional. I had a heart to try that huge baked potato, but certainly not for a light meal ! Acoustic is very good, and all staff are very friendly. It's worth trip to LA if your favourite... More

Still find it hard to put into words what a great night we had at the Baked Potato. After spending time in the craziness and crowds in LA we went to the Baked Potato. It's like walking into another world - small, hip and funky. The music was unbelivably great. You feel like you have been invited to a intimate... More

I went to Baked Potato during our visit to LA, because I found it on trip advisor. I was so glad I went. It's a dive and a small place, but terrific. You are close to the music and it's a very relaxed atmosphere. The night we went the band was an unusual mixture of funk and jazz. We loved... More

While it has been a long time since I've been to this venue it is doubtful that it has changed much. You have to arrive very early to get seats in the center where the sound is best. The food is average and the big push is the sale of drinks. Both times I went the house band was performing.... More

Finally a place with good jazz. Not this Kenny G stuff but real live and thriving musicians playing for this little gem in the wall venue

it's a jazz club and they serve baked potatoes. You will see famous musicians in here just there for a jam..our dive buddy Billy Hulting plays here some. Just down the street from where we live near Universal studios. If you are visiting Universal studios go here too.

The Baked Potato is a great little dive bar; dark, dingy, old and perfect. It is exactly what a jazz bar should be, not filled with high end clutter, just a bar, a jazz band, and people who enjoy jazz. Depending on the night, there is a cover charge of $10 per person, and a two drink minimum per person.... More

This little jazz club which has been around for 49 years, is a must stop for jazz lovers. Small, intimate and great sound with a new band every night. Two shows usually @ 9:30 & 11:30.
