I just visited the Magic Castle in Los Angeles last week through a friend who could get passes since the Castle is a private club. I had heard of the Magic Castle and had always wanted to visit. First impressions was that you were walking into a Hollywood set of what an old mansion would look like in a horror... More

The Castle has been around for years. You walk in and say "open sesame" to the owl on the bookcase and you enter a different world. On weekend evenings magicians stroll around and perform tricks. There are show in the theatre & various other rooms. A large bar with some surprises in store and best of all "Irma" the piano... More

I've been to the Magic Castle many times and am never disappointed. It does require an invitation. You need to know a member most of the time. But I believe the Sunday Brunch is open to all. I've never had to check that so I'd recommend confirming that before making reservations. Once inside it is indeed a one of a... More

An old mansion where you can watch and enjoy several shows and several magicians, performing throughout the castle. You need to be introduced by a member in order to get in, you can have dinner there, and the restaurant is actually really good. Most of the shows are on a first come first serve base, but you need to reserve... More

Firstly, entry is either via membership, as a guest of a member, or as a Magic Castle Hotel guest. The magic was entertaining, but not Las Vegas standard. The weekend brunch was generous and very reasonably priced. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

Forget that the house looks like the Bates Hotel Mansion. It is suppose to be creapy. From the secret password to open the sliding book case, to the ghost playing your requests at the piano, this is a place that is unforgettable. YOU NEED A MEMBER TO GET YOU IN so ask around. Inside they have 3 different size rooms... More

If you love Magic, then book a dinner at the Magic Castle and stay for at least 3 of the shows. Though the club needs a facelift, the shows are very fun and enjoyable. The Prestidigitation show is small and intimate and the main shows are impressive. It's not Las Vegas, it's more like your uncle the amazing magician booked... More

I love this place, have been here 3 times with the company I work for. The food is good, the vibe is fun, and there's great entertainment. It's tucked away up on the hill above Franklin in Hollywood but easy to reach. The drinks are wonderful and strong and I have not been disappointed by the food or entertainment yet!... More

We've been twice this year and had an enjoyable experience with both the dinner and brunch shows. As an invitation only club reservations are required and children are only allowed during the brunch session. Make sure to read the website for the dress code requirements and to familiarize yourself with what shows are available. Brunch included champagne and a nice... More

you have to be invited to get there, but as I stay in the magic hotel closeby it is simple to ask them. The place is a magician club as you can imagine in a movie : a mysterious and captivating atmosphere, a close contact around incredible magicians, and even some shows in an superb house theater. The restaurant definitely... More
