Hi - this review will add to the Aussie liking for this place. So convenient to everything. Rooms large, clean and comfortable. All set around the pool. The free snacks and brekkie - very welcome. Staff were awesome - Nick D especially. We had a lovely stay - even accommodating a late check out which made our final day so... More

We went without really knowing what to expect. Our party was two adults and an eight year old boy. Cost was around USD160 for entry and the buffet lunch. The buffet lunch was reasonable without being spectacular. The magic shows were definitely the highlight. We saw two really enjoyable shows and our son was lucky enough to be called onto... More

Visiting friends in LA I was lucky enough to be invited here for an evening, very cool invite only, so.e pretty amazing magicians, some predictable and just going through the motions, lots of different acts at different times and nights, well worth a visit

We had a nice surprise being asked to join a group of friends going to The Magic Castle. We didn't know exactly what to expect, but we thoroughly enjoyed our adventure. In many respects it is like visiting a haunted mansion. The Magic Castle is part real LA history, part a history of performing magic, part museum, part elegant restaurant... More

Went for a corporate event. The food was terrible and, frankly, the entire atmosphere was stuffy, over-bearing, and lacked enthusiasm. The bartenders were rude, the 'bouncers' were jerks, and the staff treated the majority of those attending like they were offering us a favor; when I'm pretty sure the company invested a pretty penny to 'get us in.' I'd never... More

Like many others have said, this is a private club and you must either be a member or have an invitation from a member. We were there a few days before Christmas. We were traveling but did manage to scrape together suits for the men and something dressy enough for the ladies. (I wore black slacks, a dressy sweater, and... More

We visited The Magic Castle while visiting our daughter during Thanksgiving week. We had 6pm dinner reservations and although the food was good, it was not what I would call great. However, our main focus was on the magicians and they were great! We were able to take in three shows and walk around and enjoy "up close" magicians throughout... More

I have been to the Magic Castle on several occasion from private room seances to this visit which was for the buffet brunch. As others have mentioned in the evenings the dress code is enforced with coats and ties for the gentlemen and dresses for the women. While lest strict for the brunch there is still a dress code. Isn't... More

I have been to the famous Castle several times and each time the magicians are spectacular. You must either go with a Member or have them give you are card for entrance. There is a strict dress code (jacket and tie for men, no pants for women). Also, if you go without a member I believe you must have dinner... More
