If you enjoy magic, in particular near field Magic, this is a very fun evening. Food is buffet style and fine. Originally, I went with a Member but you can make reservations and go as couple, small group or family. I believe they are also booking group events there now. It's worth a visit and a unique, Hollywood experience. Have... More

I'd like to give the Magic Castle the benefit of the doubt...maybe it was a particularly off night...but the experience I had there was so weird it seemed like a joke. Arrogant parking attendants who were not happy that their hanging out and chattering had been interrupted. No direction from anyone how to enter the building itself. A disinterested staff... More

Delicious dinner buffet served while being entertained by two amazing magicians is how the evening started. During our visit we enjoyed several magic shows as well as a tour of this incredible property. An experience I will never forget!

Whether you are a member or not, you need to plan ahead for a dinner and evening of magic shows at this Hollywood institution. The food is first rate and the magic shows are almost always outstanding. The close up magic is particularly amazing so don't miss out on seeing close up what the black arts can do. Be sure... More

This is such a fun evening out. I've been several times and it is always a great experience. The more formal shows in he theatre are great but the most fun is to be had at the tables around the bars where you are treated to amazing sleight of hand card tricks done close up, right before your eyes by... Really fun experience. We were lucky enough to get tickets through Crystal Cruise Line. The dinner was really good and very fair menu pricing. The shows in the different rooms were really good. Very unique Mansion. Loved the many rooms and theatres. The magicians were all intriguing and entertaining. Dressing Formal was a requirement and everyone looked very nice, making... More

One can only attend The Magic Castle as a guest of a member of if one stays at the Magic Castle Hotel. We were the latter. So we walked in not knowing the experience. It is in an old Victorian house. Beautiful. Perfromance areas here, and there - and over there as well. Problem is, as a first time guest... More

We have a friend who has a membership and some mad magic skills (that we did not know about). Our friend knew all the details, ins and outs, secrets and history of the Magic Castle which made our evening unforgettable. As a party of eight, we had a smooth and perfectly planned evening. There was no fee to enter because... More

Growing up in L.A., you hear this is just the coolest, that you have to be invited by an actual magician. You're looking forward to it because you feel so special! I was surprised when I got there however. Honestly, it just feels... "clunky" is the best word I can describe. It's like here's this room, here's the other. Each... More
