It was a bit flasher than other cinemas, which reflects in their pricing (nothing dramatic). There's a cute cafe across from the ticketing booth, I think they were having an event on as people were dressed up. The seats are good, there's a little intro by staff about the movie/curtesy rules etc. If this is your first time visiting, you... More

To say I am passionate about film is perhaps an understatement. I used to go to the movies for work which meant I'd be in a theaters 2-3 times per week. After having been to all of the larger screening rooms and cinemas around the LA area, The ArcLight Cinema was always the best. The ArcLight Cinemas on Sunset Blvd.,... More

Expensive but you can't find a better sound system. Seats are extremely comfortable. Reserved seating is nice but you always run into people who refuse to sit in their assigned seats, which is disruptive.

lovely building. Great acoustics and screen. The range of food and snacks is just standard cinema fare so this was disappointing.

I always like to sneak in a visit to the Arclight when I am in Los Angeles and my most recent trip was no exception. Great selection of independent films, lovely cinemas, good bar and food options. The famed domed theatre is worth seeing a film in too. Well worth adding to the trip itinerary for film lovers.

Love this place , unlike the grove theaters where some people are loud, legs up on chairs, using phones, giggling..,this place seems to b for people who really appreciate films only Sometimes hosting actors to tell and share after the film, love it

Tickets are a little more expensive but I've found the crowd to be a little more civil and respectful at the theater. Assigned seats are the main reason I come, no need to try to get there early.
