You can order your tickets online and select your seats in advance. So you don't have to rush there in advance to grab good seats. The only bad is there is always a long line at the concession stand so you need to allow 10-15 minutes extra before the movie.

I come from a world in which going to a movie meant double-features, a cartoon or two and even a short subject; when new releases or special engagements occurred at grand movie palaces with velvet curtains, large screens, balconies and uniformed ushers. You got a glossy program and music from the film was played during Intermission. I’ve shown my age.... More

Very clean and comfortable. Easy parking ($3 w/ validation). Easy to book tickets online. Best of all is great selection of first run pictures.

Being able to reserve your favorite seat on line is a great plus. Great picture and sound and they have real butter on the popcorn. They make their own caramel corn on site.

Love the theater. Very clean and very classy. It is pricey. Today cost me$16.00 for a movie on a Sunday, and it was not 3d. However, the seats are comfortable and it is a very nice new theater. I will continue to go here. Parking is $3.00 for 4 hours with validation at the theater.

The best movie experience in Los Angeles! The theaters are amazing and there are no endless commercials to set through before the trailers begin. Make sure to get the fresh caramel popcorn.

Reserved seating and great cocktails combined with first run movies? What else could you ask for?! Customer service is great and you can book your tickets and seats online.

I had been to the Arclight Hollywood before...but not the historic Cineramadome. I made sure to go on this recent trip. "The Dome," as it's referred to, is the first geodesic dome constructed for movies. For film fans it is a must. Prices are the same as the "regular" Arclight theaters.

Excellent to get a little tipsy before a movies. Great chairs and no screaming kids. Finally, a cinema that realises some people don't like kids

In an acting class I once attended, something that really stuck with me, is how to tell a story in an audition, You have to start with the story itself, work it's way to the ARC of it and then have an ending. To me this is how any great story telling goes without saying, a great film as well!... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
