Indoor Outdoor Mall with a great view of the Hollywood Sign from 3 different levels. Pleasant alternative to the average mall, much more feeling of space and good views of the sign. I managed a few minutes to myself getting some photos before being invaded by French tourists, then a second Chinese group. Lots of Selfie sticks about today.

Just used this mall to get a nice picture of the Hollywood sign. There is also a bathroom facility if need during your journey. But that's it. There are no good stores. I saw a couple of nice restaurants though.

The open-air mall is really nice. We went, though, for the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the imprints in Grauman's theater. My two boys, 17 and 13, though were fine with seeing a few stars and imprints and leaving. The thoroughfare is packed, which is to be expected. I'm glad that I can say that I've done it.

Yes, this is an iconic place to visit and there is no entry fee! But the place is filled with very aggressive sales people trying to sell you CD's, fake jewellery, tours and costume characters getting in your shot while taking a pic, then asking for a fee. Go there be as aggressive as they are and say "No thank... More

It was a great mall, quite a few dining choices when you are ready for a break! We did a little shopping, and had lunch and a cocktail....I will forewarn you that parking is NOT a lot of fun....we lucked out and were able to park in the parking garage....but if you park here....it's best to leave the high profile... I don't understand how this place has such good reviews. I visited it this weekend and once before six years ago. It still sucked just as bad as it did the first time! To me, my idea of a good vacation is not being heckled every five feet you go. Somebody always wants something from you. There are sales reps... More

This is the "tourist" spot of "Hollywood." I highlight "Hollywood" because this area is only about the celluloid Hollywood, the "what people want to believe" of Hollywood. Tussaud's Wax Museum, Ripley Believe it or Not, Sight Seeing Tour-buses, Gift shops, fast food, all the madness of Universal Studios and Disneyland squished onto Hollywood Blvd at the Chinese Theater that has... This was as much of Hollywood as I wanted to see. But it was definitely more fun than I was expecting. We decided to check it out on our way down from Santa Clarita on the way to our hotel neat the LAX airport. I was super excited to find out the complex itself is dog friendly (beware, only dogs... This is really a place to explore the tourist heavy Hollywood. From the Mall you can see the Hollywood sign, you can see the Walk of Fame, Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Hollywood High School. There are places to eat, shop, bars and clubs scattered about. We always stay in the area when we visit Hollywood and from there see the rest... More

Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
