There are lots of great shops and fantastic places to eat here. The TLC Theatre, Dolby Theatre and Hollywood walk of fame is all in the same area so allow 4-5 hours or perhaps spend the afternoon here. The area is filled with lots of street entertainment too, so you won't get bored. You can also see the Hollywood sign... More

This is the place to visit if you are in Hollywood. Right in the heart of Hollywood Boulevard you can not miss it and the large Elephant Pillars . If you come in from Highland street and as you go up the stairs you will look over Hollywood Hills and you will see the ever so famous iconic Hollywood sign.... More

If shopping is your thing this is the place for you. Visited during the week between Christmas and New Year's and it was completely crowded. It was difficult to walk anywhere. There are several food locations to choose from.

Walk to the back of this mall and you have a great view of the Hollywood sign. Take the elevator to the top floor and walk out to the bridge to take photos. There are many places to eat and shop in this outdoor mall area.

This shopping centre was around the corner from our hotel and we noticed that the annoying street sellers who hassle you on the boulevard do not enter. Thankfully we could escape them if only for a short time. We loved the choice of shops- there was something for everyone there. Dave and Buster's was a hit with our 15 and... More

This place is catered to tourists, not the best but not the worst either. There are a couple of decent stores..tons of people so if you're not a fan of crowds, beware, or you could take an early morning trip when it's pretty much deserted. Watch out for the costumed weirdos, they allow you to take pics with them but... More

Cool place. Best place to park when going to el capitan theatre. We ate at hard rock. Not a fan of craziness of Hollywood walk out front. But if you are in area and need to park they validate.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
