Established in 1934, when a dozen local farmers parked their trucks on an open field (once a dairy farm) to sell fresh produce to local residents, the Market has remained true to its roots ever since. With nearly 100 dining, shopping and grocery opportunities, Farmers Market has something for everyone. More than seventy-five years later the Farmers Market remains the one stop shop for every visitor’s needs.

We visited the farmers market a week before Christmas and the atmosphere was magical. I love America and especially at Christmas time, everyone was in great spirits and the decorations were wonderful. The food in the market was delicious and there was so much choice so there is definitely something for everyone.

The amount of delicious food is staggering. Try a little of everything, and you will have such a great time! I highly recommend Bennett's Ice Cream, Brazilian BBQ, Lebanese, Pizza. You cannot go wrong!

This place was so amazing in my opinion. As one who is studying culinary I fell in love with this place. There are so many venders and little restaurants to visit. Fresh produce was everywhere and little shops. I was like a kid in a candy store! I ate at one little area that served Irish and Mexican food. The... More

The market is quite big. It has franchise stores along its perimeter and market-type stores in the main area. There is a food court area as well. We enjoyed the stroll in the market, looking at the wide variety of items that is available. There is alot of history about the market, which is owned by the same family, since... More

This was my first time visiting a farmer's market and I liked it so much we visited a second time during our trip. As a visitor I highly recommend adding this to your itinerary. The atmosphere is great ....the outdoor element is cool and intriguing . We spent an hour or so just strolling around and taking in all the... More

A nice place to visit if your in the area, I didn't think it was overly special in any way. The food we had was ok.

This is a nice spot for a stroll among many market and café stalls but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way for it. There are so many local farmer's markets to choose from these days and every one is different somehow. This Farmers Market has a permanent home and it does have a lot of variety but... More

I visited the Farmer's Market in the 80's and really enjoy the experience. After visiting again in 2007 and again in 2015, the growth continues. There are stores booming everywhere but the market remains the same. They offer produce, meats and the options to eat are plenty. It does get pretty crowded on weekends so we opted for a week... We found the original Farmers Market to be a little like a tourist trap. We had a good lunch at one of the small food stalls and found some fruits and vegetables to take home, but overall it seems to have been more like tourist attraction than a place for market purchase of vegetables and food.

We visited this market after a long day and it was just what we needed. It has a huge selection of food and products to choose from. If I loved close I would be here all the time eating food. It is a very cool spot to hangout and people watching while enjoying every kind of food imaginable. If visiting... More
