This place is a favorite destination for locals and tourists since the 1934. My niece who's only in her 20's was so eager to come here and show me this Los Angeles historic landmark. There are lots of sit down eateries, prepared food vendors, a lot of food stalls from people of different backgrounds, souvenir shops, fresh produce are the best and... More

Worth the stop in LA. Great place to get some groceries, do some shopping or have something to eat. There is a couple of places you can get beer and wine and a very small bar in the middle of the food area. Be careful with the parking. If you park in the lot where the World Food Store is(which... Stopped by today with the wife to have lunch when we were out and about in the neighborhood. Lots fun and different places to eat and drink. A nice place to look around even if you don't eat or drink. A pleasant diversion for a couple of hours.

A great stop for lunch, so many choices it is hard to pick. We were there on a weekend and it was crowded, but we had a great lunch . We enjoyed walking around deciding what to eat. After we went to the Grove. Great way to spend an afternoon.

We spent about 5 hours between the market and the shopping. The choices of food are more than we could have ever imagined. There is surely every nation represented. You can get anything from raw meat to gourmet spices to gummy worms here. Go hungry because you want to try it all. We got there shortly after it opened on... More

My family loved the food choices! Everything you can imagine, each with it's own kiosk. There are shared tables in between, so everyone can pick what they want to eat. Like a mall food court but the food is much, much, much better. There are also little shops and it is right next to a bigger mall. Must pay for... More

Great eats and treats in a cool little marketplace, next to the more opulent Grove. Shop, walk, explore, and eat at the various stalls. Be patient, there's so much to see, you'll have plenty to decide which to buy.

The variety of food and desserts is vast so if you're looking for a great informal place to eat, this is the place. We enjoyed some great Brazilian BBQ!
