A must visit every time I am in LA. So many options for a bite or to take home. Food is fresh and I love the history and exploring all the nooks and crannies. Little Johns toffee is the bomb!

I've always loved coming to the market, grabbing a bite to eat and watch the world go by. The food stalls have diminished a bit throughout the years and have become quite expensive so I don't really shop there anymore for grocery items but it's still a great place for a beer.

Love the history of this area. The market was very nice though we thought it would be bigger. Was nice to walk around and the food looked really good, though it was pricy. Fruit stalls really good. A few gift stalls there also.

Heard about this place from the California Welcome Center. Came specifically for the donuts and coffee. Had a hard time choosing which donuts so we got a bunch. The one donut my daughter got was huge (almost a foot in diameter). Then we walked around and saw a curious machine running. It was a peanut butter maker and we got... More

We often go to the 3rd and Fairfax market for something to eat and specialty purchases of food. It's reliably good and the many vendors offer so many choices that everyone can find some kind of food to eat. Very local feeling even though there can be lots of tourists. La Brea Tar Pits are nearby and a good attraction.... More

Honestly, we didn't get to spend a lot of time here, but the Greek restaurant where we had lunch was first rate. The spanakopita was the best I've ever had. Everything else was good as well. Then, we stopped at Bob's donuts for dessert. OMG, I am still thinking about that apple fritter. So good! This seems like a fun... More

A great place to try a huge selection of food from different cuisines. Take a trip on the tram and enjoy the gardens. Cheap and plentiful good food.

Lots of people. All kinds of choices for food. Nice fish and produce. Very busy but manageable. Well worth a visit if you like shopping.
