Great place for a late morning stroll. Plenty of really unique food stalls for either breakfast or lunch. Lots of places to sit in the shade and enjoy your meal. Some fresh produce, seafood and meat vendors but like most of the historic markets around the country more for eating. You get two hours free parking with any market purchase.... more
This place is so great. Visited on a Sunday late morning for brunch. Show up hungry! There are so many choices for food here. Stalls and restaurant type places galore. Not a "true" farmers market in the sense you walk around buy fruits and flowers, think more like the best food court you have ever been to without McD's and... more
I looked around and I can't smell the food. Because everybody is smoking in there... Lost my appetite. So sad. I wouldn't want to bring children in there to eat. more
It is definitely not your typical Farmer's Market. There are tons of place to eat from French crepes to Sushi. There are cute trinket shops to get souveniers. There is even a bar to stop and have a beer or a glass of wine. more
I went to the Farmer's Market for lunch and was pleased with what I found. I read about it ahead of time, so had an idea of what to expect. Many different stalls with a variety of food (Pizza, gumbo, chinese, mexican, etc) as well as some fruit and candy/chocolate stands and some small specialty stores. I went to Loteria!... more

The food smelled great, but we had just eaten before we came so unfortunately I can't review on the food. Overall, it was okay but not... more
We went to the FM last Thursday. It was very rainy and got to it through rush hour traffic so that probably impacts my impressions. If you're nearby, somebody takes you there, or you've seen everything else you want to see in the area and are looking for something to do, the Farmer's Market is worth a look. There's not... more
I expected rows of fruits and vegetables at the Farmer's Market -- this is definitely an L.A. version of a farmer's market -- upscale gourmet shops flanked by restaurants and attached to a mall (The Grove). There is still plenty to see and eat here though. We headed to Charlie's Coffee Shop and had a typical, but filling greasy spoon... more
Food at a mexican restaurant was ok not fantastic. shops were average and not particularly good and it's just like any other market around the world. more
