We were so excited to join Philip on his walking tour of Old Hollywood. We even changed our schedule so we could tour with him the day before the Oscars. This tour is perfect for film buffs, history buffs or anyone looking for an entertaining way to spend an afternoon in Hollywood. Felix takes you on a magical mystery tour. What he is taking you by, talking about, isn't really there in the form it used to be, in the eras he is describing, but he makes it seem so... More

Philip Mershon, aka Felix, is a passionate historian of Hollywood, from its founding to the current day. This is a small (approx. 8 people) walking tour of a 1/2 mile stretch on Sunset and Vine. Philip provides fascinating information about the founding of the major studios, radio networks, tv networks and record companies. You could drive down this street forever... More
