My friend and I booked the hike through Griffith Park expecting views of the Hollywood sign. Although the sign was quite far to appear in our pictures, the hike provides magnificent views of LA. Griffith Park itself is beautiful, and the visit to the Griffith Observatory was also very interesting. All my compliments to Stephen, a very professional, funny and... More

This is a great activity if in LA, whether for a short time (like me) or an extended period. Stephen our guide was fantastic, the company is excellently run and the ride was informative, fun and scenically and culturally enriching. From the Beverley Hills to the Beach, it was great and the lunch at Venice Beach was just delicious. This... More

Felt totally safe and watched over by JS. Decided not to do the typical Hollywood bus tour. 1st time in LA and knew that we didn't want to get stuck in traffic on a bus. We had wonderful, informative tour, outdoors, It was a breezy sunny day and we got on and off our bikes to look at different sights.... More

Our Sunday morning hike in Griffith Park with Stephen was the highlight of our recent stay in Los Angeles. We had an exhilarating work out with beautiful views, as well as great conversations with a "local," who was both interested, and interesting!

Went on a tour with JS, my tour guide. Turned out to be a private tour because no one else signed up that morning. JS is very knowledgeable about the history of LA. I'm a native and didn't know a third of the stuff I learned! I am out of shape so the hills in Beverly Hills (didn't know there... More

We recently relocated to southern California and were looking for something to do on a Saturday. I rarely write reviews, but this is worth my time. We found Bikes and Hikes LA by perusing the internet, including Tripadvisor. We took advantage of the private tour, since there were six of us (5 adults and one teenager). The hills can be... More

Did the LA in a day tour (32m) and it will be a while to get over it. The route was simply amazing!! Got to see so much in one day that i can't wrap my head around it! Was lucky to get a private tour so it was just like going for a ride with a friend. My guide... More

Excellent hike in the Hollywood hills this morning. Miles was my guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He slowed down to a pace I was comfortable with and stopped at various points for me to take pictures. I was very impressed and would recommend this tour to anyone visiting LA. Fantastic views of all LA from the top... More

Completed the 32 mile tour with my wife. You don't need to be super fit. Miles was great. Lots of knowledge, insight & facts about LA. You don't need to worry about keeping up because Miles adjusts the tour to meet your capacity. Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice Beach & much much more. A real highlight of our holiday. Thanks... We did the 15 mile bike tour of Hollywood with Eric and Nate and it was definitely the highlight of our vacation! Eric and Nate were fantastic and we enjoyed every minute of their company on this tour! Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
