We were initially disappointed to her that we were going to be the only two on the tour - but we had no reason to be. We had a great day with Sabrina, it was like three friends on a day out, only that she did all the work and we just got to enjoy. We got to ask about... More

I have visited LA many times, in particular the Venice Beach area, Hollywood and Santa Monica. This is the only tour which has shown me the old Venice canals!. Summer was a very knowledgeable and personable guide, who gave us a great experience including a bike ride from Venice Beach to Santa Monica Pier and back. She was able to... More

The itinerary covers must see parts of LA, and they deliver many interesting stories. It really is a day of fun enjoying the city. I got lucky by being the only participant, and guided by two people who know the places best, Yusuf and Sabrina. Thanx you guys.

We had our tour with Brooke and thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience. The ethnic food tour involved some local (holes in the wall) restaurants and bakeries. These are some of the best places to go. Short stories of restaurants and LA history made this a well-rounded walking tour. The walk was a bit quick at times, as our group... More

This is a tour you can enjoy repeating -- I have done it twice and both times it was equally enjoyable. Our tour guide yesterday was Brooke. She was very friendly, articulate and helpful -- an LA native with plenty of good stories and a wealth of information about the neighborhoods, architecture, cultural customs and of course, the FOOD. Be... More

I was looking for a 'different' tour to the celebrity houses etc. and found Urban Adventures' LA Getaway. Pip was our guide for the day and he had good stories and directions. We had time to look around the various sites, including some not on any other itineraries, like a community garden brimming with flowers and vegetables and a custodian... More

I wasn't sure what to expect but being new to LA I figured why not try it out?? My friend and I LOVED it! Such a great way to see places you'd otherwise zip right past in your car!!! Our tour guide Brooke was AMAZEBALLS! She was so informative and patient! The food choices were also delish- we had a... More

The tour was led by Pip who was well versed in the history and notable points in the neighborhoods we passed through. I thought he did a good job in balancing between his tour-guide shpiel and letting us chat. The shops and restaurants we stopped in were accommodating and friendly and all the food quite tasty. Nothing too challenging was... More

Pip Lilly showed us around Korea town, Little Armenia, and Thai town. Teaching our about the history, sharing delicious cuisine, and was truly a delightful guide. The tour had a fantastic mix of history, culture, and some hidden gems in LA not visited by many tourists. I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves food and is visiting LA/lives... More
