The tour is of five hours duration. They take you through all the major attractions in the LA city including Venice, Downtown, Santa Monica, Hollywood Sign, Rodeo Drive, etc. The tour is good if you just want to know which all places to visit during your stay. Don't expect too much from it. The guide had knowledge about the place... More

I picked this tour with a bit of trepidation-- the sales pitches are ruthless along Hollywood Boulevard. They did an excellent job during the two hour drive. We had a very knowledgeable guide and felt we saw quite a few celebrity houses. I would encourage you to negotiate the price. They are quite flexible... ;-)

We only had one afternoon to see some sites on this trip. The tour picked us up at our hotel and drove us to their office on Hollywood Blvd. It was an open air tour vehicle and that would be a good option when the weather is warmer. Our tour was at 4 p.m. and we found it quite chilly.... More

This tour was included on our GoPass. We were late for the air - conditioned bus tour so since it was a nice day we opted for the open-bus tour (I wouldn't recommend the open bus if it is the least bit hot outside) Tommy our driver was hilarious! He was very knowledgeable and also very entertaining. He says he's... More

Took my 16 year old daughter and her friend to LA during February vacation. We had been to Hollywood Blvd the day before and knew that everyone would be out trying to convince us to take a tour. We came back specifically for a tour, so we were ready! We headed down the sidewalk and turned down the first couple... More

We booked our tour months in advance and opted for the longest tour they had to make the most of our short break in LA. We had no idea how close to the hotel the office was but they still sent the shuttle bus to pick us up. It was literally a 5 minute walk. The tour was broken into... More

Tour: 4 1/2 hrs, air conditioned bus, tour covered: Hollywood Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills, Venice Beach,Magic Castle, Laugh Factory etc,. We ate Lunch at Farmers Market ( lots of vendors to chose from) . We were given plenty of time to explore at all the stops and was a good overall view of Los Angeles. Our guide was very... More

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He stopped for photo ops wherever possible. If your aim is to gain a solid framework for future more in depth touring on your own and to get up close to star's homes this is a good imvestment. People expecting more should probably sign on for a longer tour or an on and off... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
