Laura was a gracious host and showed us parts of the downtown area that we would not have seen. With a background in Architectual History she made the downtown area come alive. When we go back we will be contacting her for further tours that she offers

We took Laura's Silverlake tour, and it was absolutely wonderful! The sites on the tour were very interesting, obviously carefully selected. The commentary was well thought out and presented clearly........ And it was FUN, never stuffy or dull. Laura is an absolute gem, and her tours are not to be missed! I tell everyone I know who will be visiting... More

Our Architectural Tours LA tour was a highlight for me of our visit to LA. I really had no idea how much great architecture was in LA beforehand and Laura knew and shared so much interesting information with us. She is an architectural historian who loves to share her knowledge. Next time we visit LA we will take another one... More

My husband and I are fans of Frank Lloyd Wright and Mic-century modern architecture so the Silver Lake tour was perfect for us. Our guide, Laura, was an architectural historian who was extremely knowledgeable. The highlights for us were the group of homes designed by Richard Neutra and Frank Lloyd Wright's Innes House. The tour was conducted in a very... More

This was the second tour I have taken with Laura and Architecture Tours LA. My first one was the Hollywood Tour in which we saw several Frank Lloyd Wright sites. That great experience whet my appetite for more and so I took the special Frank Lloyd Wright Tour. Laura did not disappoint! She is amazingly knowledgable about his arichitecture as... More

Laura's wealth of knowledge combined with her warm, open-style of communication made this one of the best tours I've ever taken. I learned so much about LA's architecture in comfort! If you're in LA and want to view and learn about the city through a unique and enlightening lens, don't miss this highly engaging tour.

I took the Hollywood tour and it was a great experience. Laura, my guide, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She drove me around the Hollywood area, pointing put many historic sights along the way including the Frank Lloyd Wright Ennis House. We made a stop at Griffith Observatory and also Hollyhock House, which were both great to see up close.... More

I don't often take guided tours when traveling, but having recently found myself in LA with a ridiculously expired driver's license decided on a lark to take one of these - and I couldn't have wished for a better experience! I took the Silver Lake tour and was truly impressed by the level of organization, attention to detail, and insight... More

I'm very interested in architecture, which I discovered is the unsung glory of LA and Pasadena. In the year I lived in SoCal, I tried to see some on my own, using guidebooks, primarily Architecture in Los Angeles by Gebhard and Winter. But it was very frustrating, because most of the homes are blocked from view, the book is somewhat... More
