Our tour guide Brian was awesome. We went on the Dearly Departed tour with a group of Friends and thoroughly enjoyed the 3 hour tour. Brian drove our tour bus to different locations of famous celebrity's either murders, suicides or deaths. This may sound a bit morbid but Brian handled each story with great care. The highlight of the tour... More

My wife and I did this tour on the 8th of January. This tour is by far the best tour while you are in LA even locals rave over it. Brian our guide should be called wikipedia as his knowledge of the area is second to none and his talk while doing the tour is a delight to listen to... More

Skip all the other tours and give Scott and his guys an opportunity to entertain you. I was so impressed with the knowledge in Scott's head about the "tragic side of Hollywood", as well as anything else you were curious about. My family and I enjoyed this tour more than anything else we did. If you're on the fence about... More

I absolutely loved Dearly Departed Tours. We took the Helter Skelter tour, which I believe runs every Saturday morning. Having read up on the Manson case, I found the whole thing fascinating. From the moment you step into the office, which is like a mini-museum of grim artefacts, you're transported into that somehow familiar dark side of Hollywood. The tragedies... More

My son and I did this tour in Nov 14 and really enjoyed it, sit back, relax and look and listen. Great history and in bus recordings of actual interviews with various notorious killers, also with a folder to view some of the characters (warning a very graphic pic) of the poor " Black Dahlia" which was a nickname given... This tour is fantastic, although some of the subject matter is a bit gritty, the name of the tour is a dead (get the pun?!) giveaway so unless you are brain dead you should know what to expect. First and foremost our guide Brian was amazing! Funny and informative and totally made the trip. The office is also well worth... More

My husband and I recently moved to California from Alabama and have been making the rounds to the local tourist attractions. We recently caught an episode of the Anthony Bordain show "Layover" which featured the city of Los Angeles. This tour was featured on the episode so we thought we'd give it a shot, glad we did. The tour guide... More

Scott took us on this tour and gave us an in depth morning guide to the Tate - LaBianca murders and all the relevant spots recreating the events of the two nights. Although a slightly macabre tour to go on in sunny tinseltown Scott treated the subject sensitively and didn't glamorous Manson. As Scott says its a "multimedia tour" and... More

I am a travel agent and always looking for interesting tours for my clients to take when they are traveling. Actually this tour was suggested by a friend whose house used to be a part of the tour. This tour made visiting LA much more interesting. The tour itself took us all around the LA area showing us where some... More
