Is precisely the back bone of this tour company----------The Melting Pot food tour was on my personal bucket list for years!!!!!! I finally took my two college age daughters with me to tour the Farmers Market. From the beginning of booking the tour with Lisa, I could tell this would be a fabulous way to spend a few hours learning... More

The best part of tour is the tea house. What does that say about their food selection? Below average quality food selections, mini appetizer portions. Tour guide nice and Pasadena history interesting. Their restaurants selected were 3star at best on YELP. Could have saved a lot of money if just hopped restaurants using yelp.

Thank you for taking time to write a review. I am so sorry to learn that you were disappointed with your tour experience with us. While we purposely choose tasting samples which we believe will appeal to the broadest audience, it is understandable that our selections may not always be to a guest's liking. In our ongoing quest for continual... More

My cousins and I took the tour in old town Pasadena and it was better than we expected. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the architecture and history of the area, as well as being a total foodie. It was the perfect mix of walking and eating. We actually sampled a lot more food than I thought we would and... More

If you are in the L.A. area and have a few hours free, do not pass up a chance to do a Melting Pot tour. They are a cross between a dine-around and a history lesson, and you walk-off the calories that you take in, LOL. I have now done 2 of their tours - Old Pasadena and, this week,... More

My husband and I have taken several food tours and enjoyed them. This was no exception, but it was a little different. Instead of walking to different restaurants in a neighborhood, the Farmers Market tour took place all within the stalls and vendors at the Market. We started with fresh handmade doughnuts and coffee, then sampled cheese , and had... More

We just returned from a Thai town food tour with Jet Tila. What a yummy morning. We visited sampled Thai food at four restaurants, a Thai market and learned about the Thai Buddha and Spirit House. Jet is somewhat of a chef (appearances on Iron Chef and Cut Throat Chef) and very funny and knowledgeable. You leave the tour full... More

LA has a metro system?? Who knew. The Latin food tour starts from the Chinatown stations and travels through east LA on the metro system to different little shops and stalls. At each stop we get a little to eat, a little to drink and some amazing back stories; stories of hardship, of community, of family. It is really the... More
