Went as part of the Trafalgar tour. Had no idea but sounded interesting. Let me tell you that The Melting Pot tour of The Farmers Market was great! First of all, The Farmers Market here in L.A is like no farmers market you've ever been to. Secondly, Andrew, our Melting Pot guide couldn't have done a better job. Terrific personality... More

When visiting Los Angeles don't stop and think about it - just book the Melting Pot tour of Farmers Market. It was 2 and a half hours of time well spent - learning the fascinating history of the Farmers Market while tasting a delicious variety of foods. You hear the stories about the real people behind the various businesses in... More

Look, I love Hollywood sight seeing, but let's be completely honest, if going on vacation is just hopping in a bus or walking down the street to simply look at something, I'd rather stay home. You have to get out there, touch things, sample things, talk to people who live their lives in these places. The Los Angeles Farmer's Market... More

The Farmer's Market Food and History tour was outstanding. Lisa and the rest of her team did an amazing job from beginning to end, with planning and preparation to the day of event. Email coordination was wonderful, as Lisa included everything we needed: maps, parking, directions, and tour. Our tour guide Andrew was exceptional. He gave an in death history... More

My wife Nicole and I were part of a small group attending the Old Pasadena Food Tour on a Thursday evening. When we arrived at the location where the tour started we were met with a friendly smile and introduction by Lisa. She introduced us to the other couples attending the tour and we were on our way promptly. Lisa... More

If you like different, if you like to walk, if you like to eat!, then this food tour is for you! My friend and I were really fortunate to get tickets for this past Sunday's, Thai Town Food Tour ( A BIG thank you to Lisa at Melting Pot Tours for this!). Thai food is a favorite for us but... More

Love, love, loved this food tour! We did the Pasadena tour. Our guide Barbara was very knowledgeable. She was also very enthusiastic about the area and the food. Although the price is a little steep I felt like it was definitely worth it. We did receive good size portions and we definitely left full. Additionally, I am gluten intolerant and... More

I (mom) booked the tour for my family. Best outing our family has done together in a long time! My husband - being somewhat of a history buff was thrilled with our tour guide Barbara's knowledge of the area. Barbara was fabulous! Gave just the right amount of facts and fun all put into the best 2 1/2 hour tour.... More
