Andrew was the perfect guide as we explored the history and foods of the Farmers Market. Great selection of foods to sample, first having learned the stories of the vendors, and there are some amazing stories. My wife and I couldn't agree on a favourite, but did agree that the ice cream, made fresh every morning, made the perfect ending.... More

Had a great time going on the farmers market food tour about a month ago. Was pleasantly surprised with all of the food samples we got. From starting the morning with donuts and coffee to ending it with a delicious scoop of ice cream. We had the opportunity to sample at least 8 different food samples from various vendors around... Took a very fun walking tour through Old Town Pasadena with Lisa! We stopped at multiple great little venues, often out-of-the-way on back streets, where the food sampling was delicious and ample. The stops included Mexican, Middle Eastern as well as home-made ice cream and a chocolate factory/shop. My favorite was The Bea's Knees with fine wines, cheeses, balsamic vinegars... More

The Farmers Market Food Tour with Andrew was wonderful. My two friends and I were able to taste a large variety of really good food while learning a lot about the history of the place, the country's first farmer's market! Andrew was knowledgeable, friendly, humorous, and very generous with his time. He made us all feel welcome so that the... More

The Farmer's Market Food Tour with Andrew was a great way to spend a Saturday morning. We met early enough that parking was not a problem, and it wasn't crowded. This is more food tour than walking tour. Andrew was an excellent guide, he had a lot of knowledge about the history of the market and a good sense of... More

I had planned this tour as a unique gift for my own parents who grew up in the shadows of Pasadena as a chance to revisit Old Town and see the gentrified areas, but as my in-laws were in from Canada were in town as well, I decided it would be a great gift for them as well to learn... More

While in Los Angeles took in this tour , guided by Diane . It was like old home week as she introduced us to shop owners, the owner of the market, and just about every other notable figure on site that day including tv writers. Diane is charming, knowledgeable and tour was a blast. Food selections on this "food tour"... More

What an absolute blast! Whether you're a local or from out of town The Farmers Market tour is a great experience. Our tour guide Lisa was super knowledgeable and friendly. After being told by their booking service that the tour for November was full I contacted Lisa directly and she was kind enough to squeeze us in. Once at the... More

I've lived in the area all my life, and have been to the Farmers Market many times, but this tour has completely changed my Farmers Market experience. It actually feels familiar and cozy now. I think my next visit here will be far richer and feel more like home after having learned about the food, merchants' stories, and history of... More

Went as part of the Trafalgar tour. Had no idea but sounded interesting. Let me tell you that The Melting Pot tour of The Farmers Market was great! First of all, The Farmers Market here in L.A is like no farmers market you've ever been to. Secondly, Andrew, our Melting Pot guide couldn't have done a better job. Terrific personality... More
