I have attended many musical performances across the globe and am happy to report that the LA Philharmonic ranks among the best I have experienced. The quality of the artists, coupled with the leadership of the Conductor and the amazing acoustics of the Walt Disney Concert Hall all combined to make this a memorable evening.

We love the L A Phil, but the price of attending the Hollywood Bowl is far too high. And, to avoid the sky-high parking fee, take the bus!!

I would highly recommend doing the tour of the concert hall if you cannot catch a performance. Of course, make sure to check their hours and reservations before going.

This hall where you can hear a pin drop on stage is like only 2 others in the world. (Royal Festival in London, and Nagasaki) It is a sound chamber so you can't hear outside noise. The Philharmonic is one of the best orchestras in the world. This is a winning combination. If you are visiting LA, make sure to... More

It has become a tradition when I come to L.A. to go to a concert at LA Phil at Walt Disney Concert Hall. This year we went to listen to Mozart, with the talented Beatrice Rana and wonderful conductor Trevor Pinnock. They had to change the repertoire at the last minute, but it was a great pleasure all the same!

I went to see the Diego El Cigala concert with my friend at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The acoustics were terrific, and the overall hall is amazing. Beautiful architecture inside and out. Definitely check out this Los Angeles landmark.

Saw a gorgeous all-Mozart concert yesterday at Disney Hall. I love the intimacy and warmth of that hall. Just gorgeous inside and out.

The Inside the Music video supplied before the symphony was very informative and fun. The Geary Hall is amazing. The symphony is as good as any I have heard.

Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
